Does this cold mean my immunomodulator is working?

So I've had a summer cold now for about a week. Initially I was bummed, but then I wondered if my immune system is being properly "knocked down"by this 6MP. My IBS is so severe that I can't tell if I'm flaring or getting better or what. No symptoms have gotten worse, I just can't tell if I am getting better. I see my GI every 2 months, but it'll be forever till a colonosopy. Started 6-MP almost 3 months ago. Here's where I'm at:

Getting Bellter
No more multi-colored stools
No outright pain in ileum area, just soreness
No severe IBS ER trips
Isolated loose stools
Fewer eye "floaters"
Bulky sinking stools (just recently)
Staying the same
Intermittent (2-4 daily) stabbing pains left and right lower rib cage
"electric" ankles
IBS in some measure constantly

So those of you with immunomodulator experience, did you have a similar experience? When did you know you were getting better (if at all)? Thank you for your time.

I have never been on 6mp but I have been on Imuran and really never seemed to get sick more than anyone else. It seems logical that your cold is from your immune suppression but if you are still worried I would definitely ask your doctor.
Hope 6mp is working for you!
