hi everyone i no what that i keep posting im just not sure about certain things, but last few days everytime i eat and drink more than normal im gettin more diareah, especially when i drink hot drinks, anyone have this?

Over-eating definitely causes me to have a lot more d and pain. Try smaller meals more frequently and see if that helps you. Like, if you'd normally have a sandwich for lunch, just eat half the sandwich at lunchtime and eat the other half in a couple of hours. That kind of thing works for me pretty well.

Hot drinks don't affect me though; I have two mugs of hot tea every morning (decaf tea, I don't do caffeine anymore), and I'm fine with that - in fact, it usually makes me feel somewhat better if I'm feeling ill. So I don't know what to say about that part of your question - just chalk it up to all of us being a little different and having different things that affect us, I guess.

I get that to when I eat a large meal, though hot beverages don't really affect me. I keep wanting to move to a five small meals a day diet, but have having a hard time letting go of the "three squares" concept.

I agree about trying to switch to smaller more frequent meals. When I wake up, I usually have a yogurt or something, and then try to eat something small every hour and a half or 2 hours. I make sure that I eat light "meals" or I kind of say snacks b/c i don't really eat a whole meal ever. I find that it keeps me from getting too bloaty and I don't have that nasty heavy feeling in my belly all of the time. I really try to just eat small things when I'm hungry and stuff. I hope I am making sense!! It's a little late and I feel like i'm probably just typing jibberish!

I like to stick to yogurt, fruits, small salads, usually some almonds, cheese sticks (not fried ones, and then for dinner I eat a half a serving of protein and a cooked veggie. It doesn't seem like much, but this really seems to help me out. I know a lot of people can't do fruits and veggies, but for me, everything seems to make my stomach hurt, so I just rather eat things that are healthy for me.

We are definitely finding w/ EJ smaller more frequent meals are helpful. If he eats a lot at one time it will always cause pain. Warm liquids are a laxative for me and I don't have ibd.

I find my cuppa in the morning always starts things off not in a good way, don't know if it's the milk though?
