elasticated stoma waist bands.

Hi guys was thinking of getting one of these, they are about 10 inches deep, has anyone any experience of them? was wondering wether the pressure against bag would mak leaks or blow outs more likely. Any info or experiences would be great cheers Ryan.

I always wear one of the comfizz stoma waistbands. It makes things a lot more comfortable and supports my bag. The only time I feel it would increase a blow out is when my bag suddenly fills with air a lot. When that happens I just whip it out before going to the toilet to empty it. I just ordered another one for when mine is in the wash!

hi i also wear the waistbands from comfizz. there's no problems with blowouts or restriction, they are very stretchy, in fact, when i'm on a night out i wear very tight control pants and have still had no problems, apart from feeling like i can't breathe lol!

the stoma waistbands from comfizz, claim to help reduce leaks etc. anyway.

Hi, I wear an AMI support band that velcros across the abdomen. It can be a bit restrictive but It hasnt been a problem with the bag.

Cheers

Hi Ryan, I have a couple of the Comfizz waistbands, and also one of the vest style ones that they do (although I found mine that's a bit to tight for me now) but the waistbands are great and I wear mine quite a lot when im doing anything active. I don't where it for long enough periods at a time to say whether they can go towards causing blowouts etc but in my experience they are pretty comfy and certainly worth a try. You can get them for free from your supplier so I'd say go for it.
