I don't have one... maybe fall. But I can tell you I hate the summer and I'm so glad it's over. I swear the heat had a lot to do with my flare. I don't cope well with it. (Yea it got up to like, 90 in Seattle this summer! :p) Thankfully we are moving to a new place in October and it will have AC for next summer.

What is your favorite (or least favorite) season?

It is here my fave FALL time!! , the only thing that sometimes comes alot is rain, don't like the humidity heat or the damp cold!

My favourite season is probably the transition between autumn and winter.

I'm not one for the heat, I like sunny days to look at, but I prefer the cold or the cool to the hot. The heat never seems to do me any favours.

I went for a 5 mile run in Majorca....and this was early morning and the humidty still nearly killed.

I used to love summer before I got sick, but this summer my guts were cramping up constantly from the heat and humitidy (it doesn't help that I don't have air conditioning either). Not fun! I never really liked autumn or spring either, as they just seem to be the "in betweens" between hot and cold weather - they're neither here nor there, and for some reason that always bothered me. I do like winter as long as I'm not driving in it. :) I love curling up on the couch in a cuddly blanket with a good book or a good movie on, and a (fake) fire roaring in the (electric) fireplace while the snow comes down. But I hate shoveling and I hate having to drive in the stuff.

I love the Fall as well but it holds the least promise as I don't like the gray, dead of winter!!

Summer. I love to ride my Harley and camping is great. Don't like the heat, but I will put up with it to be able to ride almost every day. Second is fall. Love the color change.

Fall!!! Even though I hav been out of school now for many, many years, I still get that urge to buy school supplies :( All my stepson needed this year was pens and pencils. I was so disappointed.

Summer - long hot lazy days, swimming, camping, gardening......love it!
Followed closely by Spring - it makes me smile when the spring bulbs start pushing through the still cool earth to bring a spash colour to my world, and spring skiing is the best.

I know!! I heard that it will be passed Ipads will be used in school. Too bad, how will anyone know how to write. My daughter has whiteboards because she is a visual learner and of course an Apple computer, blackberry, recorder, which is essential now in University...

Winter, I like schedules a lot in winter I always know what I have to do every day Get the kids to school, take them to their acivities, cooking cleaning and off to bed. Also Christmas is my fav time of the year. This year I will be baking and selling gingerbread houses from Nov 1st to mid January, want to see one I made last year?

Those are super cute! My mom and I try to make a "gingerbread lighthouse" every year. Like this:

She got second place in her local competition the other year! (Out of 2 :p)

I agree about winter, it's wonderful as long as I'm not driving in it. Unfortunately I usually am! Here in the Pacific NW temps get high enough during the day that the snow melts, and then it turns into black ice at night.

Summer and Winter for different reasons. Summer for beach and babes and winter for snowboarding

Hi Seaofdreams, I'm know exactly what you are saying. I'm the same with the heat and humidty, especially the humidity....it's just not pleasant is it.

Australia certainly ain't the right country if you don't like the heat, lol.

The UK weren't much better this year, on and off with the heat, but we've had some pretty humid days this year.

Here's me praying for a really cold and snowy winter...lol.

It was spring until this incessant heat wave (global warming) made me nauseous and dripping wet every day. I'm glad to meet other people who hate such heat. Why would you want to feel like a clay pot in a kiln? It just paralyzes you and makes you have to shower twice a day, put on deodorant every 2 hours, wipe your head off every 4 seconds so it's not in your eyes. It's even hard to breathe. You see the people native to topical areas in the movies, they have huge wet patches from sweat on their backs and underarm areas, their faces are all full of perspiration beads...How can you like that? It's just gross.

Give me 60 and sunny. That's the perfect weather for a nice day. For wearing nice clothes, like pants and a dress shirt, it's got to be about 50 or so. Those are the temps where I can be outside and not drown in my own sweat.

Long story short, my new fav is now fall. Spring starts to get too hot and it is the calm before the summer storm now. I converted this year. I used to hate fall as a kid due to going back to school. Now, bring it. At least I can remain dry for more than 12 minutes outside. :ybatty:

btw, did you know that this past July was recorded as globally, the hottest July ever on record?

I love winter weather. The cold is so much better than the hot. I intend to move to northern New England one day to try and get rid of these hot summers.

Only problem with winter is you catch more bugs and stuff. Especially people like us with the immune problems. So I guess I like the cold-ish parts of fall better, before the sicknesses really start going around haha.

I'd have to go with summer, despite it statistically being my worst time for health (80% of my hospital admissions I'm sure), perhaps what I want most is a summer without any health problems :)

Summer is not only the new year break in Australia, but despite the 40C+ heat, the most sociable time of the year as there are so many reasons to be out, eg the beach, and everyone takes time off to enjoy it.

Nicci, just move to Tasmania :) Brisbane must be a bit nasty with the humidity, in Adelaide we get the heat bad, but not so much the humid

Yeah Fall and Fall/Winter transition are my favorite times of year (Christmas time too but not for the weather, I love the colors and lights everywhere, and do take part in the the festival of lights aspect though I don't celebrate Christmas per say). I like the low cloud ceiling in the Fall and the bit of snow in the early winter, but the humidity in the Fall does take a toll on my bones and I always seem to flare around this time of year so it's a love-hate sort of relationship.. I also love the smell in the air at that time of year outdoors

For me its got the be Autumn, the colour change, the cooler sunny days (just like today in fact) and playing "catch a leaf from a tree before it lands on the ground" with my daughter - lots of fun:)

I love autumn, I love the colour changes, love that nice little chill in the air and I love autumn/ winter fashion !!! Whooooo !!! Boots, coats, gloves, scarves, the list goes on and on and on and on ..........

Scfimom & diesanduhr
Loving your gingerbread homes, they look gorgeous and too nice to eat !!!! I'd feel guilty for biting into them!!!! :))

I'm an Autumn nut! I go gaga(damn that lady gaga:thumbdown:) when the air becomes a little more crisp and the leaves start to change color. I always watch Dead Poet's Society during Autumntime. It feels like such an Autumn movie!

Late spring, when the snow is gone and temps are in the 18 - 23 range. No need for a coat, but you aren't sweltering, either.

In Seattle it's almost like we have just 2 seasons. The one from about May to October is glorious. Very sunny, little rain and warm enough for me, but without the miserable 80 - 90 degree heat & high humidity I absolutely hated when I lived in Ohio.

In NJ we get all the seasons. I've always loved the fall & winter months and hated the summers because of the humidity. For some reason this year I am praying for summer because cold weather and crohns chills make me feel extra cold & uncomfortable.

"crohns chills"!
what do you mean by crohns chills?
I have Crohn's and I get cold all the time! It's only been in the last couple weeks on the Predisone that I've been even a little warm.
And when I asked my specialist about it they said it's not normal.
