feel soooo poorly
Hi,
I am not sure if I have out this in the right forum or not. Sorry if not.
I was due to have my 2nd infliximab infusion yesterday(monday) but due to a horrendous cold and cough I have not been allowed to.
Went to the docs this morning and she looked in my throat and first thing she said was 'do you have crohns?' I said not been confirmed, why? She replies 'you have 9 ulcers in your throat and there could be more as I cant see as far down as I would like'
That will explain why my throat is sooooo sore!! My cheast is clear which is good but I have an upper respiratory infection.
Now on clarithromycin and aciclovir to help clear it all up. Hopefully wont be long till I can have my next lot of infliximab, but I got a feeling this is not going to clear up too soon. Both my sons are poorly, coughing and sore throats, high temps. And they do bring home more bugs and stuff as well.
Quite worried about getting something else on top of this and not being able to fight it.
Also not on any other medication as I keep reacting badly to everything they have given me.
Sorry for the rant/worry post. At least I got it off my chest. :frown:
