Just wondering if anyone can relate?

I am in a flare right now and each evening right around the time the sun is going down I start feeling really achy, very cold/chills and just like I'm getting the flu. I feel like I have a fever, but usually I do not. Is this common? Does this happen to anyone else?

I was told (with UC) that I should expect to feel worse at night... instead I would always feel much worse in the mornings, but I blame the later diagnosis correction to Crohn's or my weird sleep schedule. It used to be that if I woke up before noon when in flare, I'd feel so incredibly sick and just never wanted to wake up that early so I could skip it.

It was pretty much the same with me - I could feel like I had a flu coming on in the evening, but the fever advanced much quicker than a flu. Then I would sweat a couple buckets of sweat, and it would all be gone by morning. Of course, this would only happen mid-week so I would still need to go into work the next day. Don't know if there is much you can do other than make sure you don't schedule things in the evening too frequently.

Along with these symptoms I've started having a lot of joint pain. From what I have read, that goes with the territory, right?
