For the last 3 days iv been feeling extremely tired and sleepy. Why the hell is that? Is it from prednisone? Iv been unusually hungry too.

Or maybe I'm depressed?

Not sure wtf it can be

I'm not on pred I'm on entocort and the entire summer I've had extreme fatigue, my eyes have felt sick/dry, and I've had horrible sinus pressure with no relief? No clue what to make of it just praying it goes away

Hello Jison0612,

I'm on entocort as well. I didn't have any symptoms for the first three weeks of taking it. I've now started having nausea, extreme tiredness, more water in the eyes, night chills and fever. I was also wondering, if they were the side effects of the medicine.

I can feel that I have a lot of energy inside me, but unfortunately, I can't use it up.

I'm not sure either though I have a duodenal ulcer and may be causing some of my issues so I can't blame the entocort 100% yet but it's a possibility.

Are you craving protein in particular? If you are, it could be the start of a flare. Often, before I get any significant pain, I'll notice that I'm more tired than usual and also craving meat and fish all the time. Basically, I'm using up my body's energy trying to heal myself, and craving more protein to rebuild the damaged parts of my guts.

Prednisone does make a lot of people (including me) quite hungry, but it also does not generally cause sleepiness -- in fact, it tends to make people hyper and a bit insomniac. If you have been on the same dose of prednisone for a while, I wouldn't blame the prednisone for these new symptoms. Get yourself a doctor's appointment.
