First big flare.. now worried

Hello everyone

Ive had crohns for around 5 years... 2 years officially diagnosed.

On Monday night I suffered with severe abdominal pain and awas rushed into hospital.

At first they thought it was kidney stones, but at the end of my stay they put it down to my crohns.

It was my first big flare and it really shook me up

Since being home I have been slowly feeling better, but last night and all day today I have been having quite abit of blood in my urine.

I take the pill and don't have periods but some times they appear. I don't have any blood inbetween going to the toilet, so unsure what it is.

Do I need to make an appointment with my GP tomorrow? Im still really scared after my hospital stay and don't really know whats happening

If you are having blood in your urine you need to be seen. That indicated something is going on either in your blaster our kidneys. Did you have any scans done to check for stones? They are fairly common with crohns patients.

I had a CT scan.

One doctor said that it showed a stone in each kidney... and afterwards they changed it and said that there was nothing to be seen.

They checked my urine and did say traces of blood was found but didn't mention it after that. But it is very visible when I go for a wee and wipe now. (sorry if too much info!)
