I never forget to take my morning pill, but I somehow did on Tuesday & Wednesday morning. I noticed last night when I started getting bad period cramps. So, I checked my pack, realized I missed two pills, and took both. This morning I already started spotting, and of course, I feel like garbage.

So, my question is, being that I started spotting already, should I let my period come (its due this coming Sunday), or contuinue taking my pills as normal? I didn't take Thursday's pill yet.

Disregard!

I spoke with my doctor, and I am to continue with my pack.

Just make sure you use some backup until it's safe again. ;) Usually for about a week, but sometimes until you start your next pack.

Am I still suffering from my forgotten pills in October?!

My period arrived this morning, one week early. I have never deviated from my schedule until I forgot those 2 silly pills in October. I had a two week long period in October, an early period with lots of spotting before & after in November, and now a week early this month. Do you think something else could be the cause of this irregularity?

Also, I have been having a good amount of ab pain this week, some being in the LRQ (odd for me). Could this be a gyno issue or Crohn's issue? Hmmm...

It could be both. I had a fibroid and it annoyed the Crohn's for several years and no one connected the dots. When I had a hysterectomy, the flare stopped. It could be a cyst or small fibroid, I would go get it checked out just to make sure.

Also for me the Pill seems to tick off Crohn's also. When I switched BC methods it improved. Of course since my surgery I don't need to bother with it anymore. It's worth checking out different options if your partner is up for it.

Jill are you on the combined pill or "mini-pill" (progesterone only).

I found after years (alot of years) on the combined pill my cycle would sometimes change pattern for no apparent reason but it was fine.

I've only been on the mini-pill for a month but I do know that one has a tendancy to make things more erratic.

Are you taking it every day at the same time, or with a reasonable time period? Also with the combined pill I found if I was a few hours later than normal I would get spotting a few days later.

It could just be one of those things, but best to get it checked out to put your mind at rest. Two weeks is a rather long bleed or is that fairly normal for you/ happened before? My record is 8 days and has happened more than once so I didn't worry when I was on for 7 days last month!

Thanks for the responses, ladies.

@Jeanette - I had a pelvic MRI in June for my Crohn's, so my gyno didn't think it was anything more serious than messing up my pack. And I had a very normal and regular 4 years, as I never forgot a dose. However, skipping those two doses in October has seemed to really mess me up!

@Star - I take Cryselle, and I think it's the combined pill. I've done well on it until October when I skipped two doses. I am sure this is the cause of my issues, but I thought it should have resolved itself by now. I haven't had a heavy period, but it's been drip and drab since last Tuesday. It's not heavy, and I can just wear a panty liner. Usually, I have moderate-heavy flow for 3-4 days, and I am done. I hope things will straighten out soon!

Thanks again for your replies!
