Freezing the lumps in my butt

So I went to the hospital today to see the specialist, my white blood cell count has gone back up again now after being taken off azaziothrin (dunno the spelling) But due to my age I can't be put on any other medication. She said that my case is a very tricky one, as the lumps I had removed came back after a week. She said that the only thing she can think of atm is me getting the lumps frozen with some liquid nitrogen just like you do to warts.

I'm very annoyed that I still have no medication and i'm being transferred to another hospital to get this done, means more waiting for appointments with no pain meds.

Fingers crossed this freezing thing does the job and solves the problem.

Hope so, I dont have that problem but I hope they can get it fix and you get the transfer to the hospital you need. Just trying to be supportive :) Im in pain right now so hopefully other than the lumps you aren't having much other pain.

Thanks:)

Update- Looks like this might not be happening, so basically i'm still on absolutely no medication or anything. They keep saying they're going to speak and phone me but they haven't yet.
It's so annoying, How hard is it to get something, anything??
Bloody doctors/nurses.
They have no clue what it's like.

What was the problem Thrash?
I must have missed your earlier posts. What do they want to freeze?

Dan It's best if you read my earlier thread containing my story.
I'll sum it up, I have lumps that were thought to be haemorrhoids or polyps, I had them removed and they came back. Because I wasn't healing I was diagnosed with crohns.

Gotcha now.

The lumps sound to me to be abcesses and perianal fistula.
I've had those for 11 years now. Maybe the Doc's didn't expect this as you weren't diagnosed when you got them.
It definitly sounds like abcesses/fistula.

Mention this to the doc when you see him next.

If it is fistulae and abcesses, you need to get the sorted. they can't just let you suffer them.

They examine me everytime I go to the hopsital, so they know exactly what's going on they're just not doing anything fast enough.

Abcesses and Perianal Fistula, right thanks alot I'll bring these up next time I got to the hospital.
When you have a bowel movement is it a feeling of giving birth to a baby wrapped in barbed wire??

That sounds abou right.

Although mine are no longer towards the inside, mine are more on my buttcheeks.
It's the only place left for them.
I found that once you have one in a specific area and you get rid of it, they don't come back to that area.
So mine are now all gathered on the buttcheeks, and thankfully they aren't effected so much by BM's.

I haven't had a baby before so I'm not the best judge of this... but I DO have a vagina, and I poop a lot too, but I'm pretty sure that birthing a baby and pooing aren't even close. :) Just saying... :)

I couldn't possibly comment on that Katiesue!!!

Although Isla, don't knock abcesses till you've tried them!!

Tell me about it. Fistula and more specifically abcess are no fun and really painful :ybatty: I've had my share of fistula/abcess and giving birth for that matter.
