Fun Day at Glasgow Science Centre

Andrew and I are quite looking forward to going to our first Crohns fun day on Sunday. They are having 4 hours of talks/presentations, a lunch and then entry into the science centre. Should be a good day! I am particularly interested in the talk on research.

Oooh! Sounds like fun. Our IBD Center just had a 4 hour morning of talks etc for patients and their families. There was a research segment and future drugs etc....hate to say it but I had heard all before....HERE! But it was good to hear the docs talk, meet other parents/kids etc. Also, I pick up at least one little tidbit each time I go. This year the registered dietician warned against to much calcium supplementation. Apparently it is a hot bed topic.

In the suggestions I put they should invite David, MLP or Dusty to speak:tongue:

What fun. I went to a patient conference a few years ago because Jack's doctor was speaking but was a repeat of most of what I had heard before.

That is so nice that they do that. I wish there was something like that here.
