Gastroscopy

hello everyone, hope all is well. Yesterday i had a gastroscopy and a few hours after i kept feeling to spit out clear stuff. I usually go like that with sinus allergies. I was feeling like a cold coming before the tests. I;m not coughing but still today feel stuff at throat and clear to get some stuff out. I don't want to clear too much since its sensitive there right now. Is this normal or isthis my allergies. Should i keep clearing to get stuff. I was going to phone and ask, but its too late now and its weekend. Forgot to mention the last time i didn't go likethis. They sprayed my throat before the sedation andthen i was out, but last time they never sprayed before the sedation and yet they said they always incase of gagging. Could spitting be the spray coming out.

Can you call a local emergency room and ask or does your doctor have an after hours number? Sometimes they will call you back, especially if you just had a procedure done.

I phoned health links and the nurse said as long as the sputum is clear and try not to clear too hard. Also asked if i had a stomach ache which i always have but not having any bad ones today just some gas cramps. She said go in if bad stomachache or spitting out blood.
