hair loss on 6 mp

was just speaking to my cousin who is a doctor of pharmacy, she told me hair loss and hair loss of eyebrows is a side effect and according to her, its pretty commen, although i did not ask how comen. you guys ever experience that?

I am on azathioprine, which gets converted into 6 mp in the body. I have noticed greater than normal hair loss, especially when brushing or washing my hair. It's not to the point of bald patches but my hair does feel too thin to me. however, I have been assured that it is not noticable to anyone else, and I have not lost hair anywhere else but on top of my head.

I have only been on 6mp for about 7 wks and so far I havent noticed any.

i wasnt on this type of medication, however i have been on asacol and apriso and they have both caused enormous hair loss. i have visible bald patches in my head and had to get my hair cut to be able to hide the spots!!
