Has anyone tried a gluten free diet for Crohn's?

Hey there... new to the forum. I've had Crohn's since 1995 and am thinking about trying a gluten free diet to see if it gives me relief.

Has anyone had success with a gluten free diet?

Im glad you asked, I'd like to see how many it has helped. It is supposed to be great for crohns and many other extra intestinals. Also bacterial and fungal overgrowth which is common in bowel issues. I'd like to start DVD on Monday, but it's very strickt. Only soup to begin with, then very bland plain food. Update how you feel after a while on just gluten free. xo

It didn't work for me and many gluten free foods are high in fiber. I'd get tested for wheat allergy or sensitivity before doing it.
