I'm new to the forum. I wanted to take this time to introduce myself. My name is Nick, and I'm from Bryan, Ohio. I am a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps. I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease on Nov 14. I believe this means separation, which I am not ready for and also something I never wanted to do. I have a wife and a five year old son and separation is not hitting my family well.

Just to confirm does seperation mean that you have to leave the Marines? If so I am so sorry to hear this hun. Have the docs started you on any meds yet for your crohn's? How are things feeling currently tummy wise?

Hey Nick and welcome to the community.

I'm afraid that a Crohn's Disease diagnosis will indeed lead to separation I'm so sorry man, that must be rough. I wish you weren't having to deal with this.

How were you diagnosed out of curiosity? Did they do a colonoscopy and take biopsies which led to the diagnosis or was there some other way?

Is there anything we can help you with? Like Angrybird, I wonder how you're feeling.
