Does anyone out there have an overstretched colon and sphincter that is damaged by fistula?
I've had CD for 31 years and went through lots of pain and D over that time. For the last 10 years or s,o I get no pain, or very rarely, but have tons of D partly due to surgery for fistulae that have damaged the sphincter muscle.
Xrays show that my colon is huge. "Impressive!", said the doc. Does anyone else have this? Can my colon get normal again?
Also does anyone know of anything to do for the sphincter muscle? I have lots of accidents and it really sucks, especially at work. :eek2:
I am 2 weeks into SCD and doing quite well (SCDlifestyle is helping to do it carefully), but of course I want it all!
