Hemorrhoid burst?

k I'm a little freaked out. I think one of my hemmies just burst, there was a decent amount of blood, then it stopped. The swelling went down and the pain is better. Is this normal or should I call the doc?

Anytime i see blood i let my GI doc know even if there is no pain associated with it, mainly as a precaution. In this case, I would let your doc know whats going on, but don't be too alarmed unless the pain is unbearable.

I am usually so relieved when mine burst. In me that means it is coming to a point where it is healing. But like the others said call the doctor because no two people are a like.

Why do they call them Hemorrhoids...they should be called ASteroids?
