How did you find your doctor? Questioning diagnosis?

I have a hard time trusting doctors apparently. My first GI doctor saw inflammation in the MRI Enterography, and wanted to start me on Humira, but I went to Mayo Clinic for a second opinion and they found no active inflammation. After, I went to Dr. Picco in Mayo in Fl, then another doctor, and now that I'm back at home, I'm between driving 3.5 hours to Mayo, or finding one locally. I was fine without meds for the last year, until last Friday eating a bowl of Kidney Beans with Caynne Pepper made me have very loose stools. Next day (Saturday) and since then, I have been mildly constipated. I've always questioned my mild Crohn's dx, since I don't have the bowel incontinence characteristic of it. Can't anything cause inflammation in the ileum??

If you're wondering about your diagnosis, you could see another GI and ask for a second opinion. You can also check and see if there are any GIs in your area listed in the Doctor Directory!

I saw you mention that you were on Miralax -- is that helping you at all? Also, I can't remember their usernames but I'm pretty sure I've heard other people on this forum discussing having constipation instead of diarrhea with their illness.
