ya right..i hate them so much..well i hate the prep more than anything, hungry right now and cant eat and have a huge headache..and tomorrow the doc can :kissgrits: lol i like some of these new icons:ytongue:

I just had a colonoscopy a few weeks ago, so I know what you mean.

By bleeding to you mean from your rear end? I have had that happen with laxatives from having to go so much, but others wise I do not know what you mean.

Tip: use vasaline "you know where" after each episode from the laxative to get some sootheing relief.

Had my 4th scope just recently... Overall, it's no big deal, just hate the prep.. And I always had a brief reprieve from my symptoms (week - 10 days) after each of the last 3... (Think maybe the clean out temp. puts everything back in balance).. This last time however I immediately got worse... and I dunno why. Just seems that everytime I think I've got a handle on this disease, it deliberately throws me a fast ball... just to keep life unpredictable. Anyway, that means I can no longer look on the bright side for my next scope... you know, forcing myself to drink the 4 litres BECAUSE after the scope I can look forward to a weeks vacation from crohns.

hi I don't like scopes either,and I hate that god awful stuff you have to drink,I end up throwing most of it back up. Take care
