Hello Im Mitch.
I am new to this forum but defiantly not new to Crohn's Disease. I was diagnosed 11yrs ago When i was 9 and it has been a tough road since as it probably has been for most.
The best thing though is that i am in very good heath now from being in critical condition in the hospital with no hope. I have learned so much and am so great full for the experiences that have led me to the life i am living now.
I am off all steroids and prescription drugs and i am very heathy and feel great.
I have always had family suport through my sickness and have never come looking so the suport of others with Crohn's but yesterday i just wanted to know the difficulties others were having and today i would just like to offer up myself to anyone in need for help or suport i have a lot of knowledge with Crohn's and i figure others should have the chance to be as lucky as i have in the pursuit of a good life.

So please Reply to this thread or message me in private with any questions and i will do any thing i can to help you.

Welcome Mitch, and thank you for your offer of help, it's certainly appreciated! I'm glad that you're in great health now. :)

One way you can help is the new people to the forum who post their story always need a good welcoming and reassurance. And as I'm sure you've seen, there are many other areas where people are in dire need of help too. Sometimes it's borderline overwhelming so offers of help are greatly appreciated.

See you around the boards bud!

Good call David! It's hard to keep up with all of the new people some times, and I know how much it means to them just to know SOMEONE read their post.

Great to meet you, Mitch! I am glad you are doing so well. Like David said, help is always needed in the My Story thread welcoming our new members. But of course, any advice and support you can give around the forum will be greatly appreciated!

Hi Mitch and welcome! You are so young, but have so many years experience!

Glad things are under control for you without meds. I am without meds right now too - and without a colon and two feet of my small intestine! :)

Hope things continue well for you. We love to hear happy stories around here!

- Amy
