Devynn has been feeling very well since starting the Sulfasalazine in November :thumright:. I didn't post because, well... I didn't want to jinx her. She was in a mood this morning because *gasp* I wouldn't let her take her Ipod to school!:ywow: We were walking to school and she was in a mood, so she was storming ahead of me. We got to the main intersection (2 main streets) and as we started walking, she went right down. :yfrown:The road was a complete sheet of ice. She landed pretty hard on her behind and hands (both hands kind of behind her). I tried to help her up, but she was up quick. I asked if she was ok and she said "NO!" We walked the rest of the way, her about 20 feet ahead of me. I asked again before we got there and she said her wrist hurts. I am praying that she was just hoping I would let her stay home from school. She didn't want to go this morning, she was tired :boring: and is getting a head cold. She slipped skating with her class last year and broke her wrist. I am hoping she hasn't re injured it. I almost slipped about 5 times between walking there, and walking home. :ywow:
OT but this weather is completely insane! Yesterday was 15*c, I wore a sweatshirt when I went to my cake decorating class last night, which is about a 15 min walk. By the time I got there, I was sweating. Then this morning, its -3*c and with the windchill.. -11*c.:ywow: I got home from walking her to school and my face was beat red and my ears were burning.

I hope her wrist gets better and her mood.:frown:

Yesterday it was raining and then freezing on us.
When my hubby left Church last night they had to bang open the doors just to get out!
Hubby milking cows and his hands went numb and he looked down and he had ice sickles hanging off his pinky.
The older I get the more my bones hurt in this blasted winter weather.

Sorry just needed to vent about the weather!

Bless her she is having a bad day! Hopefully she hasn't damaged her wrist.

Hope her cold doesn't get too bad.

x

Oh, we had freezing hail and flood storms this morning!! It has brightened up now.

That's a shame, hope she is ok. I am terrified of the ice since Amy fell 2 winters ago and couldn't walk for 3 months. Are you enjoying the cake decorating class? I used to make cakes as a business for 3 years until we moved house. Was quite fun but messy!

Hope her wrist is okay!

Same city here so I totally get the crazy weather!!! :ywow: I hate winter! :ymad: They keep promising this global warming and I keep waiting but... just not happening! :D

Thank you farmwife. OMG it must have been cold!!
Thank you Niks, I hope she hasn't damaged her wrist. BUT she hasn't called home, so thats prob a good thing. She's been in school 2 hrs now. This weather is nuts!
Thank you saccot. I LOVE the cake decorating class. I've always loved baking, but now my cakes not only taste good, they look good :D
Thank you Tess, she hasn't called home so I am hoping everything is good :D

Hope the wrist is okay and she was just having a pre-teen moment and testing the limits.
We finally warmed up here 30F feels quite tropical compared to the 0F we had the last couple of weeks, hope it moves your way.

OHHHH, I alway wanted to do cake decorating. But I'll settle now for eating the cake.:ytongue:

Thank you Jacqui, I am pretty sure she's ok. If not, I'm sure I would have gotten a phone call :)
