Just wondering if anyones heard of it and what they think. My opinion is that its offensive when some person with no medical background tells me this or that product will cure me like I'm not already doing my best to take care of my self but I figured I'd see if anyone has used this or anything?

I wanted to first welcome you to the forum. I have never heard of this before. I'm sure someone else will come along and help you out about it. I do understand about people telling me about miracle "cures". I don't like it when people tell me about cures, I find it quite offensive in fact. I hope someone can help you out with your question.

Even with medications or "non medicinal" all affect us differently, what works for me, may not work for you. People are just trying to help. Ignorance and misinformation is really what fighting for awareness is really all about. Hope you join us, we dont bite.

huh ive never hearn of immunocal, but i just googled it and came up with that its basically a protein+antioxidant? which sounds good cause we all need more nutrition, but it also talks about immune system boosting stuff which may not be so good....im kinda skeptical, but i only skimmed the page. here it is:

like jeff and jetta said, we know how it feel to have that ignorant person try and tell you how to fix it. it is annoying and offensive if they push too hard, but down deep they are probably trying to help. either that they are wanting to be seen as a know it all and then should be put in their place

So I guess most of us who are taking imuran, 6MP, Remicade, Prednisone etc... cannot take it

I haven't heard of that either... But my favorite advice from someone with no medical background came from my MIL. "If you quit making such a big deal of it, it will go away. Keith deserves a normal childhood so quit letting him stay home from school and treat him like everyone else." Yup. She also offered to let me send Keith with her to live... because, well.. you know... she'd do so much better. Gotta love in-laws.:ybatty:

I'm tired of everyone without any experience or knowledge to put me under the knife because they heard something from somewhere!

Okay yeah I saw the sites but they are all run by people trying to sell the product. I have read some scientific papers about the antiox they are pushing in this product and it is great for you but there is no proof that an antiox will do anything to cure something that already exists, they are more preventative. well that is what I understand.
Anyways this girl and I are not even on great terms in the first place so I'll probably just tell her to respectfully to shove it~
I don't know if I'm ready to tell my story or whatever. Just hate feeling like a whiner.
