Well I think I'm in a flare again. My stool a rectangle with sides about the size of a #2 pencil and it they are about twice that in height. They range in size for length though. It hurts when I go to the bathroom. There usually is no blood but occasionally I have a few streaks on the stool. My problems are in my rectum which needs to be dilated and really it probably needs to get ballooned and then a self dilation every few weeks until it stays on it's own. The last time I had the dilation done I felt 100% until the effects wore away about a month or two later. I think after this dilation I need to give myself some self dilations when I it is opened up. I'm a little nervous about the possibility of surgery happening because I think the scar tissue may be worse in the end. I can give myself dilations every two or three weeks if I have to, I don't care. Anyways I was just looking for a little support and for ya'll to understand what's going on in Jeff Land.

I started school this today and I changed majors to nursing, I want to be a physicians assistant and this is the best field for me to get that degree. I'm only taking 12 credits this semester and I only hace 1 hard class, chemistry. Then I have to finish last semesters math class, and take nutrition, philosophy, and world history from up to the 1500's(that class is with my gf:) )

Anways that's what is going on with me. Hope ya'll are doing okay.

bah! doesnt this happen everytime you goto school jeff???

that is so annoying for you matey!

ummm, what does dilating yourself mean? kinda scared to ask... eeeep!

Yep always the same time of year.

To dilate myself means I have to stick my finger up my butt and massage my rectum so it loosens up. My problem is that my rectum gets really tightso it needs to be relaxed. It's in the last few inches of my rectum so it's not to hard to get to.

Thanks

cool.

well after living with this disease, doing thats not really the worst thing to have to do is it?
