Inception[SPOILER INSIDE]

This is an amazing movie, Leo has outdone himself! It is a 3 hour movie (very close to it) and if you miss even a second of this movie you are lost. You need to concentrate. My husband liked it but he liked Shutter Island better, and of course his number one is Titannic.

If you can see this movie, it is worth every cent!:thumleft:

Don't worry, I don't mind you guys talking spoilers I usually ruin surprises for myself by reading this kind of stuff lol I did however see Shutter Island which was amazing, if you watch it a second time it's like a completely different film

We are going to watch Inception on Sunday. I want to watch Shutter Island again too.

Inception is on a completely different level to Shutter Island, Shutter Island was forseeable ;)

Inception, what I think is that he's dreaming all the way through, and is stuck in limbo and it's his wife who saved her self from Limbo and tried to save him!

Woah there Bobby don't be giving us too much info haha. I wanna go see this, but am worried I won't follow it ha and ask a million questions

Hahaha you're one of them...
Who's he?
Who's she?
Eh, what did he say?

lol. Don't read it says spoiler inside!!!!!!!!!!:)

:ywow: Will have to "Shutter" my eyes to this thread until Sunday.:ysmile::ysmile:

See with Shutter Island I did think it was all a conspiracy it didn't even occur to me he was crazy lol Watching it a second time you get a totally different perspective

LOVED IT! Looking at Leo is a beautiful way to spend a few hours...as for theories, hmmm, not sure, but I think he's stuck in limbo...

I need to see this movie again soon. I loved it. I love sci-fi sort of stuff that makes you think, so it was right up my alley. Christopher Nolan is sort of a genius.

I thought Shutter Island was kind of lame. The twist was just stupid. It felt like a two hour long Twilight Zone episode. Except the twists at the end of a Twilight Zone episode are charmingly stupid. This one was just plain stupid. :p

Limbo fo'sho
Why are his kids wearing the same clothes?

How did he get back to reality, there was no kick?
How did he get to all of them scenes where he was meeting all his team!

It was clever how he put the inception in her, he found her 'safe' and put the totem in there. It was a metaphor kinda, when that kept spinning in her 'safe' which was in her head, that which keeps spinning symbolises her always dreaming!

this film blew my mind, i saw it last night. only downside is i saw it with a friend who is a director and he bagged out the first 2 acts at the end. but i loved it.

the idealist in me wants to believe that he got home to his kids, but the realist in me says he's in limbo.

Limbo! How come his kids haven't aged? and are wearing the same things!

Ok, now you have done it*Jetta walks over to Bobby and smacks him on the back of the head** NO MORE... anyone who wants to see the movie without a step by step here, go see the movie before Bobby has a interviews with Leo

:p

Yeah, he is a tad younger than me but I am a huge fan of him for his acting! This movie will get alot of awards! You watch.

I'm going to watch it a 2nd time and my friend said when you see it watch for the wedding ring on his finger and it should help.

I just watched 'Memento', another from Chris Nolan...wow! So weird, just like inception but completely different. Very much recommended.

I just saw Inception on Saturday - went to see it with my crohnie friend, and it was such a good movie that we both sat through the whole thing without either of us running to the bathroom! But boy did we run outta there fast when the credits started to roll! :D

Okay, so here's some spoilers and my theory. Do not read ahead if you haven't seen the movie yet.

My theory is that Leo was an old man himself when he went to see old man Saito in limbo. Remember, when he was talking about how he and Mal spent 50+ years in limbo, they grew old but could appear how they wanted to (so in some scenes they're young but then there's that scene where they're old people and he's talking about how they did grow old together). So Saito was old and I think Leo was too but he wasn't shown that way because it was from his perspective. They survived the 50+ years or whatever to the end of the limbo and that's when they woke up - and Leo knew how to get out of limbo because he had done it before with his wife. I think the end is reality and not a dream - his kids have slightly aged (they were wearing similar clothes, not the same ones) and his totem does wobble (even though they don't show it fall over). It never wobbled at all in the dream. Just creative editing that cut away before it could actually fall, but I think it did fall.

Also, someone else on a different website pointed this out so I can't take credit for this, but Leo wears his wedding ring in the dreams, but not in reality. So you can track reality vs. dream by looking at his ring finger. He's not wearing his ring in the final scene. So I think it's definitely reality in the end, a true happy ending.

I want to go and see it...i'm generally the one who knows what is going on/going to happen. But I try not to predict as i've been told it's damn annoying :D

I have SO MANY QUESTIONS after seeing this movie it was AWESOME!!!

I'm perfectly willing to accept the ending as reality, but it is way too fun to argue otherwise.

anybody want to PM? I don't want to derail the thread.
