I just wanted to know if anyone's had any positive results from them. I started reading this site

http://www.earthclinic.com/Remedies/iodine.html#BILL

In my random internet stumbling and started wondering if maybe iodine deficiency might be part of my problem.

So I've ordered some Lugol's Iodine to see since I figure at any rate it can't hurt. Sounds a bit too much like a cure all/faith based healing from some of the replies, i.e. too good to be true/******** but it's cheap and I'm curious.

Connections I've made:
My mom has thyroid problems and iodine sometimes helps those.
I have fatigue, trouble sleeping and anxiety which are all sometimes related.
I have autoimmune problems(obviously LOL) which are sometimes related

If your thyroid issues are autoimmune, iodine can actually hurt and not help. I would get tested for thyroid autoantibodies first. I have thyroid issues, and I got checked for autoantibodies before messing with iodine.

I take kelp tablets for thyroid support now. Its food derived so your body assimilates it better IMO.

Lydia- I to think kelp is the way to go for thyroid support. It has other minerals as well as iodine. While we are on the subject of minerals, I am hoping you might offer an opinion on Nano Silver. I really think that maximizing our total health makes Crohns more tolerable.
