Lately I've just been extremely low on energy / tired and napping couple times a day
My calprotectin score was Up from 169 to 190
They want to infuse me with entyvio ..but i'm reading that makes people even more tired ?
Anyone have experience with entyvio ...did it help your tiredness ?

Tiredness /napping is your bodies way of saying
It’s working hard to battle the inflammation.
My son took a lot of naps /didn’t want to play /had poor swim times(competitive swimming) when his meds weren’t working
He was only 8
He started remicade .
Yes he was tired the day of the infusion and a little bit the day after
But he had a ton of normal 8 year old energy the other 6 weeks in between
Even his swim coaches noticed the difference and could tell when his infusion was due

now at age 20 he still is a little tired the day after his Stelara injection but nothing too bad .

napping is unfortunately normal when your crohns is not under control.

when your crohns is under control you will feel a lot better .

Thanks , I hope so ..life is no fun being this tired
So i'll measure my calprotectin again and I'll have the VA do another colonoscopy - been 6 months
see where the inflammation stands ...if it has gotten worse
Va is willing to infuse me with vedolizimab ...but I don't like the idea ...however i'll have to do it if this tiredness continues
Kiny posted that she didn't think vedolizimab worked ....but i noticed she only seemed to pay attention to a shorter time span like 1-3 months and there seems to be some information that it takes longer to show results

Vedo works really well for many people with Crohns disease. It does take 6-12 months to get to where you need to be. I've been on it for 4 years and I have only recently gone from 8 weekly infusions to 6 weekly. I think it's a great drug as it has been the only one that has kept me well long term. I do still get tired though and have a nap or fall asleep in front of the tv almost every night.
