so Ive been dealing with possible crohns for about 6 months but the doctors won't give me an answer on almost anything and I really need to know what to do...

I had an appointment today and was told the genetic tests finally came back.

My SED [inflammation count] was 43. and the normal inflammation count is 10.

[as a side note my GI was looking over the test stops and goes "Oh my gosh." and of course I'm sitting there screaming in my head :sign0085: mee because we all know thats never a good sign lol.]

He now wants to do ANOTHER MRE. I had one about 2 months ago...
they keep suggesting test that I've already had and I'm really not sure what to do? it just seems like we keep going in a loop.

I had been on a steriod... it starts with an E.. sorry can't remember... but it started giving me bad emotional problems and I had to go off of it.. but now they wont give me anything for the pain and junk.

he also keeps mentioning chemotherapy... should I be worried? whats yall opinion on this?

if you want to read a bit more heres a link to my blog entry from this past weekend's hospitalization. I'm quite tired of going in and them telling me they aren't finding anything when I'm in pain and bleeding

[I can't post a direct link apparently but this will give you a bit more info then just what I'm typing... just remove the spaces]

Yes!!!!!!!! I would be asking for a second opinion! Especially if your current doctor isn't explaining anything to you and continually giving you the same tests over and over. Here's a hope that you'll be able to find some actual answers. Take care.
