is this safe for crohns?

I take dolgic for headaches. Is this safe to take with crohns? My Dr said absolutely no baby aasprin n tylenol only if I must. Just wanna see if its safe bc I've taken it for 2 days now. Can my headaches be from the remicade?

I don't know what dolgic is, but as long as it's not ibuprofen, I can't see why it would be a problem. When I was first diagnosed, my doctor said to take acetaminophen as a pain reliever. The problem with ibuprofen is that it's an anti-inflammatory drug...which interferes with our treatment.

And yes, the headaches can be from the remicade. How long have you been on it?

*dolgic*

Dolgic is acetaminophen (Tylenol), butalbital (a barbituate/muscle relaxer), and caffeine. Is it contraindicated in Crohn's? Not really. Just understand that butalbital can be habit-forming and caffeine can sometimes exacerbate a flare.
