Is it wrong to get some amusement when a family member is experiencing some sort of abdominal pain. (it was nothing serious, just leaned on something the wrong way) When she was expressing just how much it hurt, I waited and then finally said, "now you know how I feel EVERYDAY!"

It did give me a bit of pleasure to possibly have a family member understand a little more just how I feel everyday, but I do feel guilty for taking mild pleasure in it.

Maybe if that person has always been rude and never tried to understand how you feel then ya, I can see that.

When I feel like people don't understand, I have wished that they could feel it -- just for a moment -- so they could better understand where I'm coming from and I would know that they truly understand me. As a kind of punishment or source of fun? No, probably not.

Frustrating isn't a big enough word for the way I feel sometimes, but I wouldn't wish it on anyone else.
