I'm so happy. I went from skin and bones to overweight while on Prednisone. My doctor said it's common to gain weight around the midsection from steroids. After I achieved remission on Remicade, I started counting calories on MyFitnessPal. After that I got a Fitbit and tracked my calories and walks on that. It took a year and a half. I wanted to do it slowly so it would stay off. I can now fit into clothes I haven't worn since I got sick. :dusty:

Great.

Good for you Tuff.
I've lost 14lbs since January, relaxed a bit over the last two months and have just started again trying to shift another 14lbs. I'm hoping the weight loss will have a positive effect on the Type 2 diabetes the steroids very kindly gave me too.
My goal is to be able to fit into the padded jacket and trousers I have by Christmas, you must be really pleased to fit into your clothes again. Well done you!

Congrats on the weight loss success!

Yeah, I've lost some needed weight recently too. I've been joking about it. I've been following a strict diet, and doing well with it gut wise. A few weeks ago I added a new food to the diet, grass fed beef. As a result my weigh rocketed upwards quickly and the gut became mildly worse. Now with beef removed from the diet I'm doing better to the gut and I've lost 10lbs quickly!

I'm marking this down as one of those strange & mysterious IBD events.
