Just too loud....

As a long time sufferer of UC and now Crohns, I have surely come to the conclusion that no longer have any pride, LOL So I feel ok sharing this with all of you for most of you can most likely relate.. For the past 6 years I lived in a 2 story house that had a bathroom upstairs off our master bedroom, and several times everyday I could confidently and discreatly use that bathroom without anyone else "hearing" everything.. Well, since January we have been in our new home which only has 1 bathroom, which is located, yup- you guessed it, right off the kitchen.... Now I know most families, like mine, tend to "hang out" in the kitchen, and that use to be just fine to me.. but now----- not liking it too much. I on an average make 10 to 15 trips to the bathroom each day, where now while I have horrible loud diarrhea I run the faucet full force, cough, blow my nose, bang the drawers, sing loudly, anything to try to block out the noise, and silly me really thought it was working.. Well the other day I was in the kitchen and my daughter was in the bathroom and I could hear the water running for what seemed like a really long time, so I knocked on the door and asked her why the water was running? She proudly yelled out " I turned the water on so no one would hear me pooping".... I later told my hubby about it, and he laughed and said, "honey, all the noises you make don't really work ya know?"... :stinks: totally busted.... LOL
