Donald Trump has bathmophobia, a fear of falling downstairs.......I bet that's not all he's afraid of.

No i bet its not...if i looked like him id be afraid to look in the mirror ..that face staring back at me would scare me to death ๐Ÿ˜จ he should also be afraid of opening his mouth as the old saying goes "best to let people think you are an idiot...than to open your mouth n prove them right ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Yes folks i should be asleep at this time 1.25 am here. .oh well maybe tomorrow night il do just that as il be exhausted by then.

Love to all you wonderful folks ๐Ÿ’ž๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’—

Mandy, my yoga instructor said today that when she has insomnia she lies on her stomach for a while and drifts to sleep in minutes. Maybe you could try that :)

Hello all, I hope that you are all doing well. Just thought I'd spin by and check in on all of you and try to be human for a minute or two. Thinking positive thoughts for all of you and hoping that everyone is as healthy as can be expected.

Grumpy it's great to see you.A little more often would be much appreciated.Hope you're doing OK.
RON....I'm sure I also have IBS,never two days the same in my bathroom and very few of them good.

Well hello Grumpy.. so nice to see you again โ˜บ hope your well. It would be nice to see you more often.๐Ÿ’•

Grumps! How are you Shaun, my friend? Very nice to see you. I miss your sense of humor.
Carol, you took the words out of my mouth, Trysha, are you okay?๐Ÿ’›
64 days until Doug's retirement.

Blimey Carol i didnt realise i was that well off!!! I might have to sell my body(no not in that way ) and go on a spending spree :rof:

All the chemicals in the human body have a combined monetary value of ยฃ4.........

Just don't tell that to a person with low self esteem, Carol. :ylol:

Just got back from the eye doctor. Scheduled to have a broken tooth repaired Monday, an echocardiogram on Friday. Typical doctor stuff going on. (I know you all relate to the multiple doc appointments.) The good news from the eye doc, I still don't have any diabetic retinopathy, the so-so news, no change to an already damaged nerve in my eye near my macula (doesn't cause significant problem, probably caused from stroke), the bad news, but only minor bad news, I have the very start of cataracts. Still a long way away from needing anything done about them though, thank goodness. So life goes on...

Winning:dance:

Hi Grumpy. It's great to hear from you! Hope you're doing well.
Hello all, hope you're all doing good as well.
Infusion day, time for a nap after my win. ๐Ÿ˜ด ๐Ÿ˜Š

We have been invited to spend Thanksgiving with my son and his girlfriend. :) Hope everyone is well.

Sorry to have been away so long, busy with Crohn's and still taking care of my mom. Work is good. Crohn's still sucks - am still on entyvio, have a colonoscopy on the 27th, a cat scan coming up and the rheumatologist on the 29th other than that am still kicking and creating havoc and humor. CMack nice to meet you too! - not usually grumpy just liked the name (dwarfs you know 7 of them). Carol, after all the chemicals they have poured into me - I'm sure that I'm worth at least 5.....Hope everyone has great day!

I like you already. Cheers!

I want to say a huge thank you to all of the Veterans and Armed Forces members here in Canada, and also to all our Allies and friends around the world. I am forever grateful to you.

Agree with Mandy. Yesterday, my wife had to call my son to help me get out of the tub . First time that has haptopens. Going to the doctor tomorrow to see what is going on

Dear Life, when I said "Can my day get any worse" it was a rhetorical question, not a challenge........... PS.my day is OK in case you all start worrying hahaha, but I know lots of you on here will relate to the quote..

Oh dear Ron hope you find out whats goin on there mate. Hope it was a one off event for you. ๐Ÿ’•

Carol i can relate only too well . Glad you are ok today. Im not 3 bad myself today ๐Ÿ’ž

i stumbled across this thread today somewhere between the outhouse and the coffee in the kitchen. Anyways, its a friendly crowd in here, and that is good.

Ron, I hope it's nothing and you feel okay x

Welcome bufford, we are a crazy bunch :)

Ron, I hope it was a one off as well. Sometimes if I sit in the bath too long and I get too hot, I have a tough time as well. I'm sometimes afraid I'll faint when getting up. I tend to run some cooler water near the end to help me lower my temperature gradually. Best wishes, I hope everything is okay.

Hope everyone has a lovely week ahead. It's our 4th wedding anniversary today. I can't believe it's been 4 years already. We have been through a lot, and it makes me feel so old :)

Welcome aboard Bufford.....I was going to mention this thread to you but you seem half sensible.....most of them on here are " away with the fairies" as we say in this neck of the woods, just ask Chris.:lol2:

While the journey might be an ordeal, the crew here is jolly bunch.

Hi Everybody. Sandy and I survived the great Kaysville Utah Power Outage of 2017!. Power was out for 30 hours this weekend because somebody was driving drunk on the freeway. He must have been flying! He lost control of his truck and crashed into a power pole. That pole held Kaysville's main power transmission line. The lines came down onto the freeway, and it came off other power poles on a major road in Kaysville.

Because Sandy is on oxygen at night we had to make arrangements to get a generator, so we could run Sandy's condenser all night. Due to a very good neighbor, we were put in touch with a complete stranger from the west side of Kaysville who had an extra generator. He allow us to borrow it until the power was restored. Restores your faith in humanity!

Generators are handy, around here power can be unreliable, with one or two pulls on the Honda the lights and TV are back on. Sometimes I need power and the extension cord is not long enough, all I have to do is bring the genny out and I have power where I need it. Probably a good idea to pick one up for Sandy, generators are far cheaper than they once were.

Aw bless the stranger what a kind person. So glad our Sandy was not suffering without oxygen because of that plonker on the freeway ๐Ÿ˜

Bufford welcome to the looney bin ๐Ÿค—. Hope you're doing well

That was great about the neighbor.

Welcome aboard, Bufford, hold onto your hat as the ride here takes many twists and turns. It's all fun though, and we're glad to have a new victim ... um ... I mean member here in this crazy place. (Seriously, we all really do care about each other in Last One Wins aka LOW aka the Looney Bin.)

Happy Anniversary Madhu...good to see you Kirsty
Thank you Carol for your concerns
Life has been a bit of an upheaval with serious illness of increased family members...plus
some personal illness issues...wish it would all go away.
To compound matters my computer system was hacked and I had to wait for our resident computer specialist to fit it in with his busy schedule...certainly knows his stuff so things are now up and going once more.
It is good to be reconnected with everyone and I really appreciate the kind concerns of you all.
Thanks again Carol. Sandy Ron,Cmac and Everyone for the good thoughts.
Still no snow in our neck of the woods..but not complaining..anyone else with Snow.?
Hope you will soon be feeling better Ron..
Welcome Bufford....yes ...you will be fine here
Winning....

Glad to see you Trysha tho sorry to hear of all the health issues going on...and of the hacking. Why are there so many devious lowlife people on this planet.๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ˜ . About time they were rounded up n shot at dawn !!!

Ron hoping for the best possible outcome on the scan ๐Ÿ™.

Kirsty hope you enjoy the trip over here. Bring wellies umbrella rainmac snow boots jumpers thick socks etc oh and a bikini just incase we get a heatwave... oh british weather you just never know ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Love to all and best wishes ๐Ÿ’ž๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’•

Sorry to hear that Ron but infections and especially blood clots are very serious. I'm glad you're being taken care of.

Trysha you've had some unfortunate events lately. I hope things sort themselves out soon.

Best of luck today Ron , you are really having a bad time recently , hope you have a nice thanksgiving with your son and his girlfriend next week, it only seem like yesterday that you were going them for last years Thanksgiving , sending prayers and good thought to you and your family .

How is Cat-a-Tonic doing? I haven't seen you around for a bit. I hope everything is okay.

I'm here. Not posting very much since I lost my job. Going through emotions about it and also need to figure out what to do from here.

Lord help Ron's leg to get better and stronger. Cat-a-Tonic I pray you will find an even better chapter in your life.

Husband had his GI appointment today. His Dr wants him to maybe go back to 5 week infusions. Apparently his body needs more of the remicade

Cat...you have my sympathies and support....this is a most difficult time for you but
something will turn up soon....somewhere out there you are needed.
I saw this happen to so many staff including colleagues all across the hospital system when
decisions were made to close one hospital and reduce staff in others.
It is a pernicious system and still continues in a form that once a certain age is reached staff are let go.
It is a great loss of talent and experience...and for those of us that remained a sense of loss
and sadness.
These occurrences should not be taken personally...it is the powers that be who are making
life altering decisions.
Many rose to the challenge and found better jobs and conditions in which to work.
It was harder on the pre retirement staff members.
You will find a better position..there is one waiting for you out there...and when you finish
marking time you will be a lot happier in a new job.
Ron...it seems we changed places...hope you will have a good recovery and be home soon.
Have a good day Everyone

Cat, I truly know how you feel. It's been 3.5 yrs since I quit my high-value job in India and came to the US (not the same situation as you are in, of course). But I truly feel the pain of being at home after having rich work experience. It's like I sacrificed my career for my husband's. But you still have avenues open. You can definitely find another job, and I'm sure it will happen very soon. Chin up and be the superwoman that you are :)

Cat, I am actually relieved to hear it is the job situation that has slowed down you posting. I wondered if something had happened to Lilly.

Madhu....hope your husband responds well to the new drug regime.
He has had quite a time of it....hereโ€™s hoping he will feel better soon.

Thanks all. Lily is still doing okay - still eating well, no further seizures, and no pain/symptoms as far as I can tell. When she got diagnosed with cancer, the vet said that Lily will probably have 3 months left at best. Well, on Saturday it'll be 4 months! She's blown away all expectations. And she's gotten quite fat from all the extra treats she's gotten these past 4 months. :)

Hi folks. Some time in the next 36 hours I am going to close this thread (and start a new one) as its' size is having an impact on the server. As such, there WILL be a winner soon :)

Once I close the thread I'll create a new one so please look out for it.
