I'm in for a win, another wet day in Wellywood. Morning everyone, and Cheryl, I missed ya

Hello there,

Hard at it but looking forward to the weekend. I have a good feeling about the win today (everyone has gone).

:dance::D:dance::dance:Besides that, I win no matter what, because I unsubscribed from my depressing depression forum. You guys (and gals) know how to have fun.

Kisses and hugs! (come on guys, Robert & Trev, and Skippy wherever you are, etc., you can handle it!)

hi guys, sorry i havent been around much, just so busy, i need a holiday. where to go???
pondering and winning. (see men can multitask)

we are heading up the forgotten hiway on wednesday, i will be freezing up there. and i hate the cold. but i go and do what im told.

Hi all - time for a win. Hey Trev, last time I went down the Forgotten Highway I drove past this cow cocky with a dryazbone raincoat, cowboy hat, riding a horse - he was drop dead gorgeous! Thanks for bringing back that memory, I had forgotten.

Sandy, pressie for you :rosette2:

'sides that, who's depressed when I have my friends here? But if you want to see some REAL cowboys, I know where some are in Utah. They even still herd cattle.

And with that win, I'll now be quiet about Utah and give you all a respite. Then you'll all be winners, except Robert won't be able to see the scenic backdrop for his fav movies.

I'm off to the Trossachs,Scotland tomorrow for a few days R & R.Will take sun block AND wellies to cover all eventualities. So will try to get a few wins in today.WINNERRRRRRRRRRRRR

Thankyou my friend.Weather doesn't look great but if we let that stop us we would never get away.Another quick win for me I think .

Well, you deserve the r&r, want you to enjoy it! True, if we wait for weather, who knows. Thinking about some night fishing with hubs tonight, despite the heatwave.

No need to thank me,no really you shouldn't.I feel quite embarrased taking your win.But it 's not gonna stop me...........:hallo3::devil::lol2:

Have fun Carol. In the mean time, I've noticed that we can scare Robert off if we all play nice. What do you say?

I didn't start it - I am a stickler for order.

Why people cannot follow the rules on the Limerick thread !...........well!

Our neighbors keep bringing back our escape artist of a dog. She has figured out how to unlatch our gate to our fence, no matter how much we find new ways to tie it shut.

Somebody wake me up when others decide to play. I think I killed Robert. Time to go vacuum to clean up the mess.

Morning all how are we this fine morning? Who is alive? and who killed who overnight? What's with the handcuffs?

Handcuffs - I cannot repeat - just watched Men's Doubles Final - Wimbledon - Brit in the winning team

The least said the better then Robert, 'nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no-more'

Congrats for the tennis - I am sure you played well (from the couch) :ylol2:

So, what about Murray then?

Robert supports Robert. And he admitted he was in handcuffs a few times - silence is a lot louder than words.

I'm doing pretty well, thank you. I've just had a nice nap after vacuuming, and doing some dishes. Now I've got to figure out what to make for dinner. Usually Doug cooks because I get too worn out. Perhaps Shepard's pie. Then I've got to clean the bathroom and the office, water some plants. Doug mowed the lawn, when it was about 90° fahrenheit out there (very hot), and worked on some other yard work. Some flash thunderstorms went through and now it is only about 60°. Foster daughter has been "cleaning" her room all day. Busy day, but good. I hate to move off my recliner, because then I have to disturb my semi-lap doggy, but here goes ....

Doggy escaped from yard again, pharmacy already closed for meds I needed, flood in basement, Doug is cooking. Sorry Trysha, I had to express myself. I wonder when Wimbledon, or whatever, is over, so I can have somebody to take it out on.

Wow Sandy------you don't do things by halves---
Sorry to hear you have all this trouble and aggravation and hope
your pathway will soon be smoother again.
Won't be long before the close of Wimbledon=nothing lasts forever
Cheers
Feel better soon
Hugs
Trysha

Time for that winning feeling again. I am having a few rage issues as I am tapering off the prednisone. The jump from 10 to 5 mg a bit too much for me, I will go to the doc on monday for some 1mg pills so I can go 9,8 etc - at the moment I can do this :ymad: and then jump up and down and do more of this :ymad: for no reason at all.

Ah last day of Wimbledon then a break until the Olympics - been a hard year of sport for me - exhausting.

I am too much of a gentleman to tell the real truth about the handcuffs - stand up you know who you are!

Dark and rainy here - but coffee, newspapers and toast here I come

It's dark here too (but it is night time now :ylol:), rain has stopped. Just had a roast chicken for dinner, yummy!

Why do you ask? Do I get longer wins if I am? :ylol: Nah, I am good at the moment - it comes and goes. I'll get it sorted tomorrow.

Longer wins! Kirsty - no!! No mercy here when the prize is at stake. Hope you are feeling good tomorrow - hot drink and a good film will cheer you up.

:sheep:in the keanwhile a win to the kiwi at the bottom of the world...thanks many thanks:sheep:

:sheep:in the meanwhile a win to the kiwi at the bottom of the world...thanks many thanks:sheep:

Wallath - the win has been terminated to clear the decks for a UK victory.

1,000 posts for Aura - but no win in sight.

Utah have finally conceded to a superior force - but you tried hard.

My head hurts. gotta go to bed earlier. Throat hurts. Probably from all that snoring Doug says I did. I hope all of you are well, even Robert. Kirsty, hope you are better today. Second day at lower dose should be better (I've been there). Hot drink for me and then back to bed. (don't usually drink tea. Can't stand coffee.)

Morning all - a win for me for reaching 1000 posts - party time :luigi: :beerchug:

:us_flag::bigwave::emot-q::applause::applause::applause:
Wow, Kirsty, what should we send you for presents? How about the friendships of all of us? Are you any better today? How is everyone else?

Oh, win!

I will send you a present - it is the gift wrap for a win - that I have kept. Don't mind a party though.

Thanks  Sandy, I am ok today. No rages - but its only 9 am here :ylol: I have emailed my doc to see if I should be slowing down the taper. Today is jab day as well

Good evening, all.
If it makes you feel any better, Kirsty, I used to have to jab myself with a two inch needle (literally) every week (cutaneous instead of sub-cutaneous) in the thigh. At first it made me feel very flu-like for a day or two. Got accustomed to the side effects though. I hope no rages is still the issue. I hate steroids.
As for presents, you better not let Robert plan any parties, even if he was nice up above.
Trev, are you still out and about in your motor home? We have a small tent/trailer but it is in the shop right now. Also, we like wilderness camping and could not take a rig like yours most places. It sure would be nice to have full hook-ups though.
Wallath, what do you do beside jump rope on this forum? Cheryl, what do you do besides bank? Carol, what do you do for fun? And anybody else? (I know I'm missing people, but I'm literally missing a small piece of my brain. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.)
Happy life everyone.

Relatives returned to UK today. Now I don't know what to do with all this freetime!
Think I will stroll in for the win

I deserve a win.My GI took me of Welchol and Loperimide.we now know Humira is not doing it.Th D is back with a vengeance, with mucous.got to call the doc and see what we do next.

win...did you hear:rosette1: that......a win to the kiwi.........thanks:dance::sheep::luigi:...and it was such a lovely day today...cool but good!...as they say down here..."whatever".....a win .....just ithought I would mention it again.......:award2:

Sorry, Kirsty, I still say I deserve the win. I clean the toilet for Doug and Ashley, who both have "issues," plus I am on welchol myself, plus I have a headache at least half the time, plus I had another seizure this morning. That doesn't make Doug's, or anybody else's hard times/sicknesses less or greater than mine, everybody's pains/effects are unique to them. And Doug does have to deal with me. I am just in a feel like winning because I have to clean the toilet mode. But I do feel really bad for him and all of you. I guess we all have our own issues, don't we? And pressies for you for standing up for a fellow IBD er.

Wallath, I love your cool but good attitude. I hope it rubs off on me. All of your/everybody's humor makes me happy, even Roberts, and there wasn't enough bantering tonight. That must be my problem. I expect all of you to take care of me! (tee he he he.)

Sandy, wish you were here to clean my loo, feeling nauseous now. But not for too long - as I took a pill or two :thumright:

Posting too much. With my "poor me" attitude, I will stay off this forum until I have a better attitude. But until somebody posts after me, (probably about two seconds) I WIN! (and yes, I am an impetuous fool, it is part of my charm.)

did I hear someone say they clean toilets:poo:???????...well mine needs cleaning.:poo:.and while you are all thinking about how you could all travel here and clean it......in turns that is.:poo:.I will take the win ..:rosette1:....yeah a win to the man on the edge of the world...:sheep::mademyday:.

It's the lesions in my brain Doug - I forget where I am - Of course I have been adopted do you want me to come back home and clean the toilets? :thumright:

my family only clean toilets in Utah, my daughter. Come on home and do your chores. Wallath, I'll adopt you too.

Doing well (for a Monday) - Driving back to Kent in an hour - to see if my daughter has trashed my flat over the weekend.

G' night all, Sunday night. Well, actually 1:00 Monday. I'll let you fight over the win for awhile. I'm busy being quiet. Good luck with your daughter, Robert. Does she clean toilets? Stay safe on your drive.

She turns it into a student flat - by the time she gets back from work it is tidy - magic.

We will make merry while you are away Sandy - Kirsty is up to no good

Why am I up to no good? What I have done? I swear I don't have handcuffs! :lol2:
