Very hot and sunny here (Niagara)

Hot midnight win here. I'm trying to pick my brains up and put them back in my head. But the brain surgery huurrts! Back to beddy-bye! When I have myself back together, I'll be back to tormenting all of you, especially Robert.

Haven't slept a wink last night. I did fall asleep yesterday evening for a couple of hours. Hubby came upstairs and found me sitting up in bed with the laptop on my lap and both hands in the typing position. LOL I still have yet to drop the lap top off the bed or fall off the bed myself. :rof: Hubby wants to know how I do it. I'll never tell. Guess I win for this morning.:dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

Never give in!!! im all for nothing!! my time to shine even if its for 5mins!! newbee in for a longbee.. xxx:hug:

I have to say my traditional welcome to the loony bin, Naturelover. I hope you can handle Robert.

And Stacey, you had I little bit longer than five minutes. Now that I ruined your win, I can go finish my night's sleep.

Never my win... and ill never fall asleep infront of laptop!! i know my limits.. keep inform for this forum!! learnt that in early days!! And ill never give in... 2 brothers and the army made me that way!! xxxx

I don't enjoy being right all the time - (although I am used to it) but that speck in the distance.........................that's me - miles ahead................bye

Ahhhh, lunch time. Us rsd'ers only sleep a couple of hours at a time. Not by choice. See you in the PM. Wink, wink.

P.S. You got lucky Robert, Stacy and Sandy. I'll be gone come Monday for a week at a special camp. Check it out on the web joniandfriends.org At least one member of the family has to have a disability. My family has several members. Can't wait to go....

P.S.S. As far as Robert is concerned... You go get em' Stacy and Sandy! Throw him off the trail!

Camp is in the mountains. Not much cell phone reception so no WiFi either

Greetings and Not so fast Trev---it's Sunday night here and its my win!

Sorry Trysha, it's still Sunday night, and now my win. I've had my brain surgery, and now I'm ready to fight, fight, fight! Grrrrr! (Even if my emoticons aren't working, I'm out to WIN!)

I'm a winner for perseverance - I started at 9 am and by 6:30 pm I had all my medicines for the next month. Coming off prednisone - patience is not my strong point - and it was so tested today.:ymad: now I am looking for my inner calm

Tsk, tsk, tsk, now that I've got my internet back and just before I walk out the door and loose it again, I win! Ha!

Pssst. Sandy and Stacy, you can catch Robert off guard. He's watching the olympics instead of working.

Shame, shame Robert. You can stop dreaming you're in the swimming finals with all the girls cheering you on. It's time to wakey, wakey and get back to reality. Tee, hee.

You can stop dreaming you're in the swimming finals with all the girls cheering you on..

Actually I did not want to admit I having been leering at the women's beach volleyball - horrified when I tuned in late Saturday night and they were wearing tracksuits because of the cold - anyway I have been banned for being 'a dirty old man' - not fair really.

As if this is news to any of us, Robert....lol!

What !! Just because I had been watching it for 30 minutes and couldn't say which Countries were playing.

When Doug and I turned on the TV and realized it was beach volleyball last night, it cracked us up. Beach volleyball in the middle of London? Ha ha ha ha!

Okay, down to business. Utah wins again. (My emoticons stopped working. I wouldn't doubt it if Robert did something to them.)

Coooooollllllll! :soledance: We're driving down the road & I've got portable internet for the first time in my life! Yaaaaa hoooooo!!!

Okay Robert, pick your jaw back off the floor and put your eyes back in your head. Nothing to leer at except pretty faces on women's volleyball.:boring: Seriously, you're putting me too sleep.:boring:

We were supposed to be at our destination at 4pm. Ha! We didn't leave the house until 4pm. Grrr.... Think we might be a tad late?

Give hubby a medal for that one.:medal1: He went looking for a new camara to take with us. Can you say PROCRASTINATION? Sure, boys and girls, I knew you could.:ywow::ywow::ywow:

Ow, ow, ow. I forgot to take my IBS pain meds. They are now currently packed within the depths of the car. Bummer!

Maryland wins again! AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:

Looks like a wild party here in Maryland.

Hi, I win

Yes - I am watching the olympics too - thank goodness we have everything delayed - it's just cause we are ahead of most you. I wake up and they are just finishing off the sport from yesterday - and I am ready for a new day.

Sandy, sorry you are not getting the emoticons - that must hurt - what happened.

Naturelover welcome and you're a tad cheeky eh? You will fit in here very well. I was going to take the mickey out of you for overuse of emotions, but hey thought I would just celebrate that you can use them.

Robert, well - what can I say...when it comes to beach volleyball, the men should be topless. Anyway - I enjoy swimming - men wear less and women are wearing more each year.

No TV here. Keep me posted on who wins the womens gymnastics. The new rules totally stink. Managed to find a "hot spot" for wifi. I'm in bed burried under maga amounts of covers and have my heated blanket on.

Aura, thanks for not taking the mickey out on me. Uhhh... so what does that mean? I never heard the term before. Just didn't sound real nice. Ha, ha.

I love all the emotions. They're awesome! Had to use a lot of them you know. There are a lot of people here in Maryland. Yea, I'm a bit cheeky. Hee, hee. Gotta be. There's no other way to make it though the day. My mott: "If I didn't laugh, I'd kill myself so I choose to keep on laughing." Besides, laughter is the best medicine. You don't feel the pain, or anything else for that matter, as much. It was a bit of a long boring car ride. Had to do something to keep myself busy. Wink, wink.

Trysha, you're a shy one. Hello!

Stacy, are you up?

I win! For now anyway.

Sorry Naturelover, it's my kiwi twang - when you 'take the mickey out of someone' - it means you are cheeky to them, make fun of them in a playful sense - not hurtful sense.

:thumleft: :rosette2:

Did someone say kiwi? Yuuuuuuummmmmm! Have you ever had home made kiwi applesause? It's awesome! The kiwi seeds look really cool in the applesauce. People who come into the house and see a jar setting out on the counter from the refrigertor wonder what in the heck have I got in that jar. Ha, ha!

Oh no, you need to take your jumping sheep and move along. Take them back to the barn cause I win. Wink! SMILE!

There...........I soon scared Stacey and Naturelover off. No staying power you see - I will coast in for the win now.

I'm in for the win! Robert, you know you love it when I take the mickey out of you

Well good morning to the Down Under mob - but don't think you can just stroll in to take the win I have been working on all day.

Single handedly I have got rid of Scottsma, Sandy, Tracey, Naturelover and you are next Kirsty !

:ywow: Im back! :) Happy just reading all you crack up comments! BUt guess i just have to say... I WIN!

No, no, no. Naturelover hasn't been scared off, she's on holiday and has spotty internet access. I'm sure her previous post advised the forum of that. She's also very busy. The mom's got pampered today. Hair cuts, chocolate, craft, massage, fingernail painting and a foot pedicare. Next is supper.

I knew you'd be back stacy. Great to see you. We need to dispel Roberts illusion that he wins.

Trev, I'm glad you were the first to post. Someone has to start things off. Don't feel like you must be the last one to post. You could become completely exhausted. You wouldn't want that would you?

I love it and I win, Robert as if you could scare me off, that makes me laugh  I'm in for the win again!

Trysha, you're a shy one. Hello!

Stacy, are you up?

I win! For now anyway.

Hi! Why do you have so many blankets in the heat of summer?

Hi Stacey, not till I know you a little bit better :ylol: Until then I win cos I am so kewl :cool2: or is that the two glasses of wine that I drunk in the bath speaking...

Robert, yes we are a funny lot - rather direct actually - my drinking is no secret - and I love a nice red wine while in the bath. A glass or port after the bath. Don't worry I will get some dinner at some point :rof:

Hi,Honeys I'm home.I see we have a newcomer on the Looney thread.Welcome Naturelover. I can see you've all been behaving yourselves,NOT.Anyhow just popped in for a win.Hope you're all well.

Welcome home, Carol! So good to have you back, missed you! Did you see that yesterday Robert was trying to say he'd officially run you off? Isn't he so delusional? LOL!

I was merely pointing out 'if you snooze you lose'

Bit disappointed with the Olympic events on today - none of my favourites

Bit disappointed in all those vacant seats Robert--
wide awake and winning----

Hello Trysha - thank goodness - the voice of reason. Many unhappy people about the empty seats - they have been allocated to teams / associations - but allocation not taken up to the dismay of those who were rejected in last years ticket ballot. Beach volleyball seems to be packed.

Welcome home, Carol! So good to have you back, missed you! Did you see that yesterday Robert was trying to say he'd officially run you off? Isn't he so delusional? LOL!

Thanks Cheryl, good to be back.Yes I did see" Kylies Biggest Fan" s remark, but I choose to ignore it.After all,a chap his age ADMITING he ogles pretty young girls younger than his daughter, well, what can I say except I hope He's not wearing his SPEEDOS for obvious reasons.!!!!!!:rof::rof::rof:

Hi! did ya miss me? Didya? Didya? Obviously not! I think I'll go back to my depression forum...

I do agree with Cheryl, however, about the women's gymnastics. It was also interesting to watch the mayor of London on the zip line.:emot-q:

Kirsty, my adopted ... (now how did I adopt you? Sister, mother, child? They are all insulting. Oh! I remember! Cook!) What have you been cooking lately? I bought a carrot cake today. Does that count?

Hi all - just off to pick up hubby from airport. He had flooding this week. Sandy hun, I can be whatever you want me to be...:ylol2:

I am getting ready to bake a whole lot of pumpkin, feta pies in texas muffin tins - over the weekend - not tonight.

Hi! did ya miss me?

I missed you Sandy - but I am beginning to think this is going to be quite hard to win. You lot keep going (good) - but keeping coming back (bad).

Anyway this win should be good for eight hours or so - don't even think about it Kirsty or we are going to fall out.

Hi, I'll grab a win - Robert - whats this about falling out?? We can't do that over my win :rosette2:

Morning Cheryl, hope you're well.I've decided that I'm not going to be spiteful to poor Robert today.Poor Lamb,he's just a man and that's not his fault is it?SO it's be kind to poor old Robert today.I don't know why but he brings out the worst in me when I am really a kind, sympathetic, caring person. And THE WINNER of course.

I've decided that I'm going to be spiteful to Robert today. I am really a pathetic person. And The WHINER of course.

Well Carol I am shocked.

I was in London today - my route takes me past Buckingham Palace and it was really very quiet (for mid summer) - I think everyone is staying away because of the Olympics. Caught sight of the Beach Volleyball stadium.

I am well, thanks Carol. Not perfect, but well in my opinion, for as well as we get, hmmm? LOL! Yes, he is just a man, after all. Those years teach them nothing, apparently, lol! Glad now that I didn't put "Good morning, friends...and Robert".....just teasing you, Robert!

:yfaint::pillowfight::award2:I don't see my broomstick convertible. I always keep it with me.

But I still win.

Very imaginative Robert--- reminds me of The Magic Flute----
You have had the win long enough now its my turn.

Just saw The Dark Knight Rises. Great end to the Trilogy, but there is an opening for more.

Well done kiwis...2nd Gold!! Guess the last one dont win in that race!!! wooohoooo...
:lol2:

Just having a quick win in true GB olympian style.Don't know if I have the energy or inclination to be nice today so be aware 'cos I'm a mardy mare:voodoo::ymad::yfrown::uk_flag::uk_flag::uk_flag:

I wouldn't say the person who posts below this is ugly - but when they were born the midwife slapped the mother.

I saw the same movie, of course. I think it was good, but this week has been so hellacious that I tried to fall asleep. The good news is that after a meeting with foster daughter's case worker's boss's boss (the Utah director of the largest foster agency in Utah), I am sure we won not only the battle that was going on with a couple of nit wits, but the war (they started it mom, they started it!). Phew! Utah director bringing a couple of underlings in for a meeting with all of us then we are through with petty political games. now I'll be back to torturing all of you. This makes us the definite WINNERS!

 thanks all of you for holding the for down until we could win!

How about this one:

He was such an ugly baby that when he played in the sandpit the cat kept covering him up.
