i left some bait on the (What Career/Job Do You Have) thread and never even got a nibble,

I am afraid they are only interested in themselves on that thread - anyway I posted a response (that will be ignored - they would be no fun on this thread)

I know I'm talking to myself, but foster agency came and went. I don't have anything to do except talk to myself (and laundry) so I guess I'll talk to myself. Robert, X was being nice. Do you know what that is, or did Teresa have a point, how are you physically? Do you hurt so much that this is just the way you are? I have to get it out or I explode. Try listening to good music, also. I'm listening to "The Eagles." Anything that makes you cry and/or laugh. You don't have to tell anyone you cry, just get it out. You can do that while smoking your (cough, cough, hack, hack) cigars. Think about your ex (eeeeck!) if you need to. My therapist (yes I see a therapist for all you newbies that don't know. And proud of it.) My therapist tells me I need to find a healthy way to get rid of my anger. I would rather turn into an agoraphobic at this time. Can't go anywhere on my own anyway.:voodoo::voodoo::voodoo::voodoo::voodoo::voodoo::voodoo::voodoo::voodoo::voodoo:

Hi Doug
I sent you a picture message - its on the previous page, just before Trev and Robert got mean and ignored me

dum de dum de dum de da .. :ylol:
um how do your put your meds on the bottom of your signature thingy plz ?

Nah - I just enjoy being mean

At least you're happy being mean, then Robert.
I might have to go find another depression forum. I don't know how everyone stays so positive here. I had a little nap and that helped some, but not enough. I don't want to depress all of you, so maybe I will be quiet for a while and just mention chocolate. Yum.. I wish I had some. I can keep imagining, though.

Jan, just go to settings, then under edit signature, put it there. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy.

Chocolate yummy, I love chocolate coated almonds; dark chocolate coated apricots. My chocolate coated timtam truffles are awesome! I also like macadaemia chocolate, fruit and nut chocolate and mint. We have Whittakers chocolate here and they are so yum, so much better than Cadburys, yum, yum, yum

I might have to drive to the store.
Okay, I'll wait for Doug to get home. Nearly forgot, Ashley is home in just a couple minutes and can't leave he alone. She has staff coming in less than two hours though. Doug and I are going on a chocolate date! (He just doesn't know it yet.)

Hi Doug
I sent you a picture message - its on the previous page, just before Trev and Robert got mean and ignored me

i would never be mean to you Kirsty, still waiting for an invite for some more yummy cookies and cream. meanwhile i will take the win for the day.

Thats cool Trev, you know you have an open invitation to our house - you just tell us when you are coming down. Today I dropped to 2 pred tabs - all i hope is it goes smoothly and I dont accuse hubby of anything stupid again. I went to doc and got dry ice on my toe four times - ouch! sorted out my meds, and my body as much as we can. Got more drugs forgot some stuff, but shite happens. I have to go back on lactulose thanks to hemi's and tears, I thought I was doing so well off it.

Today my aim is to do 4 podcasts, eat grapes and chippies (Crisps for Robert and UKites)

The thoughts of chocolate made me a lot better. I'm not such a grumpy Gus any more. Sorry guys and gals. Ashley cheered me up too, by just being Ashley. I still think, Robert, you are mean because you don't feel good. You take delight in covering it up by just acting mean. It's okay. We'll just send you lots of hugs.

I think I'll use my juicer and make some experimental concoction with carrots and grapes.
Kirsty, you are doing well. It is hard on the body to have prednisone so long without some reaction going off. Whatever happened to your foot, take care. I'll make you some cookies, cake or brownies. Let me know your preference.

Hi Sandy, I like brownies - yummy! I just had two verucas on the same toe, so just getting them burnt off again. Tried to do it two weeks ago but they still there, stubborn buggers. I think I am too tired to do the podcasts - my voice is tired. I am sleep for an hour and then try again

I ready for brownies now :ysmile: I woke up. I have a little energy - but not enough for podcasts so I will watch some tv and do podcasts tomorrow. I think the doc took all my energy, or the pain I am feeling in my toe

Doctors are good at taking all the energy.

Sorry, Trysha, I took the win back. Do you want some brownies, though?

I'm going to bed early so I won't be so grouchy, and because I'm getting another massage:ysmile::ysmile:

Kirsty, you're making me hungry for chocolate. :cookie: Stop it! It's pure torture for me right now. :angry-banghead: I can't have my favorite food group. Sniff, sniff. My stomach is burning so bad and so is my esophagus. :frown:

Where do you go for a chocolate date? Sounds awesome!:soledance:

Oh, this is so sad. I'm talking to myself. I don't recall giving anyone permission to get a life. :yfrown: Where did everyone go?

Oh well. Maryland will gladly take the win.

I know that feeling real well. I used to vomit 16 times on the way to work. I had a hernia as well as GERD and LERD. My nissen fundoplication surgery solved it after years of medications didnt. Good luck.

Evening Trev and morning Robert

Time for a kiwi win then I go an watch a midsummer murder

did anyone catch the Crohn's paitent on the show NY Med a few weeks ago? Here is the link to the abc web site
http://abc.go.com/watch/ny-med/SH55214626/VD55227912/episode-8

The paitent is not in appear in the episode until about the thirty minute mark if you don't want to watch the whole episode.

This is not a tv show for those that don't like to see blood and guts. While most of the surgery parts of the show are not shown, you still might see something gross.

Trev, I'm just watching them on DVD while hubby is away during the week, they are fun to watch

I missed all the fun last night. I was so tired I went to sleep at 10! I never do that. Guess cleaning the mansion wore me out. Have a great day. Gotta go to women's group this morn.

Kirsty (and Glori)
I don't know how you dealt with that for so long! I sometimes wake up with the acid reflux and think I am dying! The GI tested me for Berret's esophagus (LERD) because of the way my esophagus looked, but it came back negative. I've had I hiatal hernia for years though. 16 times on the way to work? Wow!

P.S. I win! Now I've got to get ready for my massage.

Wow Jessi this has been the quietest day on here for ages and you turn up to claim the win - do you know something?

LUCKY DOG~MASSAGE AGAIN??????:worthy:

Jessi, my Jessi, are you okay? How is hubby? How are kids? Do I need to come bring you some chocolate since I forgot to last time I was up there?

Hi Sandy! Didn't know you were there! Did you getyour massage already?

Got my massage. I didn't know you were there. My phone, as you know, is slow bringing my posts. I get a massage every other week, basically, because I have "spastic" legs from my stroke years ago. Now, since my seizures started, I have these weird jerking movements sometimes while I am awake called myoclonic jerks. You could say I'm a spaz and a jerk.:D

I've heard of that. Certain antidepressants can cause that. My sister had to go off paxil from that. Glad you are good otherwise!

No you are not! A nut maybe, but a fun one at that! What are you doing today besides being pampered?

I gotta go. I'm a sleepy spaz and jerk. Robert, I really do hope you're okay. actually, my house needs some attention. TTY soon.

Morning all, I'm awake and just going to make a coffee. Sandy, just be thankful you werent driving behind me as I used to throw the contents out the window

Robert, why were you at hospital? Were you visiting a sick friend or relative or was it you that needed help?

I know that feeling real well. I used to vomit 16 times on the way to work. I had a hernia as well as GERD and LERD. My Nissan fundoplication surgery solved it after years of medications didn't. Good luck.

I know what GERD is, ds had a nissen fundoplication with g-tube placement so I know what that is. I have a hiatel hernia of the cardia, so I know what a hernia is. But I'm not sure what LERD is. The answer would be?????

Oh, I just read LERD is Barret's Esophagus????

Biopsy report said I don't have Barret's Esophagus yet. Yea! Do have esophagitis and gastritis. No real surprise there. Have signs of delayed gastric emptying, no surprise there either. No bacteria causing the gastritis. Good thing I suppose.

Crap Sandy! I want a massage! I've been having such severe muscle spasms that I've had to use the wheel chair. This wheelchair sucks because it isn't what I need. We are borrowing this wheelchair and it makes my sacrum hurt so much I can hardly get out of the darn thing! I'm waiting on a call from the company to schedule an appt. to come out to the house and fit me for a proper wheel chair. I hate using one, but as winter draws nearer and nearer, I know I will be in it more and more. I just hope I get my own wheelchair before my surgery Oct. 1st. Doubt it though. Gosh I'm feeling in a sucky mood today. I don't think you all have ever seen me like this. Must be the lack of sleep and all the pain talking cause it certainly isn't me.

Had the ultra sound on the blood clot area. Still some clot left which means I won't get off this sucky warfain blood thinner. Grrrrrr... Waiting to hear about the port area. Apparently, my vascular doctor's office would never want their name associated with the surgeon who put in the implanted port. What the H*^$#*! I could tell by what the ultrasound tec was doing that something was funky with the port and the final kicker was what she said about the surgeon who put it in. The vascular doc will take good care of me though. They have their base line as to what everything looks like now. I love this vascular doc. She doesn't rush. She gives her patients the time they deserve and you can tell she really cares. It's worth the wait in the waiting room to see her. I will try to get the first appt in the morning when I see her to cut down on my waiting time. Tee hee.

I think I'm done rambling for now.... sooooo..... I win...

So sorry Glori. I hope you can get a wheelchair. Aren't there places that will let you have one as a borrow when u have surgery?

Only transport chairs, which is what I'm borrowing now. Won't do me a lick of good.

So how's life treating you in your neck of the woods?

just be thankful you werent driving behind me as I used to throw the contents out the window

Robert, why were you at hospital? Were you visiting a sick friend or relative or was it you that needed help?

Shocking - you rough Kiwi's

I think I definitely need help - no it was for me - Shingles (thank you Aza) effected my vision some time ago - 2 more months of eye drops ahead - but no big deal.

Decided to give in and comfort myself with a Hershey's Special Dark Chocolate Bar. Hope I don't regret it!

Brsides the typical neck and back pain, ok. Have to go for a sonogram of my kidneys because where the pain is is where my kidneys are. I have cysts on the left one and the right one had the tumor they removed 3 yrs. ago.
But, my problems are minute compared to yours. You are a brave woman and blessed. God blesses those who suffer.

I still haven't got over the shock of getting ill at Easter - nothing to do with getting ill - but missing out on all the chocolate eggs.

Yeah, I didn't have much either with the crohn's. Now I am on the SCD diet and don't even eat sugar. I cheated and had a brownie over the weekend. It didn't bother me at all. Sure tasted good!!! I do love chocolate.

Sorry to hear you had shingles, I got them thanks to methotrexate and didn't have a problem with the eyes (already have enough issues here thank you!) but I got the marks on my side and it was really painful and itchy.

With regards to easter I cannot even remember it now - I don't think I had an egg either :(

Hi everyone by the way :)

Hi angry!!! How ya been? What is your first name by the way? I hate calling you angry! You look friendly to me.

Well I like calling Angry Angry and I refuse to change!

Angry - you're sensible - I have tried to add a signature under 'edit signature' but nothing happens - any thoughts?

Lol  I am actually called Faye, as you may have guessed Angrybirds it my favourite ipad game.

I am not too bad today, headache is gone although still feeling a bit tired. Just had a nice soak in the bath.

I also love angrybirds. Do you play angrybirds RIO? I like it much better:biggrin: than the first one. Download it for a free trial if you haven't.

Hey how did you do that?

Do what hun? With regards to your sig, I am not technically minded and I know you may have thought of this already but when you press 'edit signature' you get the white box with the smilies right?

If so once you have made the changes are you remembering to click on 'save signature', I know really obvious but I am a girl and blonde with it so this is the best I can come up with.

Oh yes I have Rio and have nearly done all of the seasons - from 2011 AND 2012. I did it first on our ipod and then all over again when we got the ipad.
