She is a Boa constrictor. I think shes like 10-15 years or something. Her name is Satan.. I call her Satin. And she is just about as long as I am tall so about 5'10.

If one came across me in the wild I would freak out too. But aslong as its in her terrario I don't mind. Spider.. I don't know. A friend of mine has one and there is no way I would ever touch it.

The ONLY good thing about it is I can sleep one hour more before I get up for church! I guess I'll go down and be with my hubs now. I got my shower and feel better. Hope someone comes on for you Sanni!

Yeah.. it really is quiet here. Usually I would be spending time with my man and if not I tend to arrange stuff for weekends with friends. But since he is sick hes home and I'm home. And didnt have time or motivation to sort stuff out with friends. So I figured I would see whats up here.. but yeah.. very silent today.

Atleast there is a super awesome (hear the irony) romantic comedy on tv.. so thats my activity tonight.

We did the move your time thing last week. Can't see any point in it. Silly old habit that should not be done anymore.
 
White would do fine.

Gin and (pink)grapefruit juice is good. Everyone is always having gin tonic's but I wanted something different and googled what goes good with gin and tried the grapegruit. Orange juice will not work as a substitute.
 
We are at the Utah Utes game. It its halftime and the score is Utah Utes 31 Washington State Cougars 0. Go Utes!!!!!
 
They can still win. 0 to 31 is doable (considering I dont' even know what sport we are talking of).

Oh and it must be football (American) .. cus isn't fall football season.. atleast at thanksgiving there are games.. and thats soon... I think. I better not think and just go to bed. :eek:utahere:

lol - i used to say the same thing about football. I don't know what happened??
Re spiders - you can keep them. I had a spider bite once that wouldn't go away (for several months) and i was sure was going to scar. It hurt like crap for a long time and was most likely just one of those "harmless" garden spiders, and i just had an allergic reaction, the doc said.
Re cats, those really are beautiful. I used to have a silvertip chinchilla Persian. He was soooo beautiful. My ex got him in the divorce too. His name was Houdini. I miss him. I've had cats since, but Houey was special. Can't have them anymore, either, developed asthma.
The snake, i didn't realize that was a boa also. I tried to ignore the thing. I know Gary's was fatter, it probably had to many guinea pigs. (Not mine, though.) I don't know why i liked guinea pigs, though, the stinky, smelly rodents.
The kids? Well the devil child is home, on best behavior, and the other one missed the game.
Okay, what is new with everyone else? Is everyone okay?

I just squirted Bailey with some water cause he wouldn't get his head out the fridge when I went to shut the door. He is presently half in and out of the fridge. The water didn't work.
 
My 2 rescue kitties sleep on my neck n belly....ugh. one is black with white the other is white with black. Now now i know what you're thinking, there's no difference....but- there is!
 
Likely a bit of discontent as the Christmas Music was playing prior to November 11, Rememberance Day
 
Oh, is there some sort of protocol or unwritten rule regarding that?

Do the shops have all their Christmas stuff out?

I think it's a bit of a societal rule here with respect to putting decorations up and playing music, although largely an unwritten rule out of respect. The Christmas decorations are on the shelves, Costco had decorations for sale in August.

Yeah, now that you mention it I don't think they play music in the shops until closer to December.

Remembrance Day is certainly observed here, as it should be, but I would have to say that the main day of remembrance for our armed forces is ANZAC Day, April 25.

The decorations usually start hitting the shops straight after Fathers Day, first Sunday in September, but the shopping centres and larger stores don't put their decorations up till maybe the last couple of weeks of November??? They aren't up yet anyway.

I reckon it must be weird for guys in the US that have both Halloween and Thanksgiving so close to Christmas.

And best of all I am the champion so all is right with the world! :poop:

Nah, I'm hopeless when it comes to artistic stuff like that.

It is a portrait of Sarah that was done by one her friends as entry into an annual art prize they have here called the Archibald Prize. Hubby said...it doesn't look like Sarah! I said...it does and it's not supposed to be an exact likeness! It is how her friend interprets how she sees Sarah! He still doesn't get it! ahahaha.
 
Crohn's question. I ate a Wendy's meal for dinner. Burger and small fries and am having terrible gas pains. Will a painpill help that?
 
It may do. Analgesia can slow down the gut and so reduce cramping pains if that is what you are having and the pain is low down.

If it is a little higher up and you have something like Buscopan that may help or if it is more your stomach then an antacid should help.
 
Just had to win for a few seconds, at least. I've got gerd and a pain in my lower left stomach. I think i caught Doug's crohns.
 
You all are winners anyway. I'm not quite as grouchy today, so Doug and i are going to go watch a recording of the Utes

I just am sitting here looking at my computer and then at the clock at the wall and then back again and thinking...huh...how come there's an hours difference with my posting times?!. Then I start getting all confused and agitated. WTF is going on! Ding! You lot over there have put ya clocks back! :voodoo: :lol:

1:20 am now that the clocks have gone back. I was watching tv and it went from 1:59 to 1:00,first time I ever saw that on cable box!:lol:

Dusty. Your kitty looks so fine! I wanted to get cats with the real long fluffy fur (maybe persian or the one i really wanted was Somali cat) but my ex-husband said no to long fur. It was allready hard to get him to give into having a cat in the first place so Burmese was the breed I thien chose. Been really happy with them. :heart:

Yeat Sandy, You can have Aamu. She can be a pain in the ass. Will fit in with your kids wonderfully. :hug: And you have more patience too!


My morning today started out with my stoma being a :ybatty:. Just annoying.. I gues its better when its a weekend since atleast then I have time to just sit and wait it out but still :ybatty::ybatty: And today is Humira.. I have to rememeber to take it with me to my moms so she can do it for me. Other then thats a slow sunday up ahead.
