To be honest Cheryl I don't think I've got what it takes.No sooner am I on cloud nine after a well deserved win,when some *&^$%"+ sneaks in and takes all your glory in one fell swoop.I wouldn't care if the afore mentioned took things seriously and stuck to the rules,but that seems to much to ask.If any of you recognise yourselves from the above discription,then I hope you're proud of yourselves.Not many people get the chance to beat me into submission..........................OH,and another thing, I WIN:rof:

In England and Canada " focussed" is the correct spelling.
American spelling can vary widely from the classical English.

I've decided I get the win. It was my birthday on Friday when we shifted. It was ok that hubby forgot to get me a card, we had a lot going on. But last night I did ask him - do you think at some point I could get a card and a wee present????:voodoo:

It's totally understandable, I did get a present from mum and dad - a great range of cookie cutters.

i watched Moonshiners last nite and was surprised that it was illegal. is it still illegal in the USA and other countries. i had a still and made alcohol for many years as its legal here.

My house smells yummy - just made some wafers with onion, garlic, basil, grana cheese and olive oil - smacked between two sheets of short pastry. Topped with a beaten egg and salt and pepper.

Yummy - so I win!!! Anyone want to pop on over and try one?

After a day of vets,shopping. HEAVY showers and soup making,I've just sat down for the big win.Hopefully those "down under" have hit the sack in defeat,and those "over the pond"are busy doing morning things.So that leaves Robert.What can I say ?? Well there was going to be a reprimand for being late on parade - but maybe not. Yep I think it is just us - they know when they are beaton (that's just so Cheryl can correct my spelling again and start another fight).

Well,I'm just going off to have some pea and ham soop,and maybe some bread and butter pudding with cornish ice cream.(excuse me,I'm drooling again,it's an age thing) Hope you are feeling ok.in spite of everything.Shingles hasn't curtailed your impertinence I see,scrolling back.:ylol:

I see your strategy now....trying to get us all drooling and hungry, lol! We could use the showers here, too long without rain, just put the garden in last weekend and have had to turn on the sprinkler every night since. Shingles....Robert, is that you? Ouch

Hey Sandy - thanks - No it was just my tactic to get a sympathy win - we were discussing it on 'the other side'.
 
I'm going on vacation. My therapist (started to need one after I started dealing with you LOONIES!) told me me to "take a vacation from my problems" this week so I am going to go pack. I'm sulking off into my own little world, where they know me better.
 
Hi Robert---hope that shingles is beginning to resolve.
Forgot to mention when I had it on the scalp I found olive oil stopped the burning and apple cider vinegar (diluted !table spoon vinegar + 4tablespoons water) relieved the itch.
Hopefuly yours is not so bad and that you will soon be better.

Hello Trysha - thank you. The scalp is clearing up (good job as I need a haircut) - some fierce looking lumps around my eye mean I am still not fit to face the public !

be very careful that it does not reach the eye itself. Good to hear you are getting resolution--you are healing fast. mine took over a month and longer than that with sequelae.
