I missed your poetry, earlier, Kirsty. That was great! Oh, I missed everyone else's posts also. I keep wondering when Robert is going to post again. he hasn't been on for ages. Has anyone seen (or heard) from him? Hope he's okay!

Hi ya GW and Sandy :)

Robert is back, his dry wit was warming the early hours of this cold morning.

In case anyone is interested England have been knocked out of the football championships by Italy.

I just know Doug and Sandy will find some Italian blood just to make it worse for me!

Robert, you were missing from the forum. I know the world cup is on and you have been following your Team England. Today I heard that, during the shootout some chap pulled out....his all...in a failed attempt to distract the Italian player taking the shot. :rof::rof::rof::rof::rof:

I am exhausted after all that chatting Aura - certainly not going to tell CLynn how to access the chat room

Maybe.....................................This is a good time of day for me - America has gone - Down Under about to go - long wins to look forward to.

Well - it looks as though the win is between you and me - I think you will blink first (I will blow cigar smoke in your eyes).

Are you sharing the win with me? When my cats and I have a staring competition they look away first - I am very good at not blinking:yrolleyes:

Good Morning Looney Club.Just one question before I take THE WIN.How do you all find time to post, have you not got STUFF to do ???

Yep good point - something has to give. So far today (it's 11.45am)

3 hours + - work (stuff I get paid for)
Taken daughter to work (she is 21 and should get on the bus!)
Bought shopping for the week
Collected parcel from Post Office
Washed shirts

and had several wins of course.

Well!! I'm looking for a careless housekeeper so I can "post" all day, you'll do nicely. Can't pay much mind but you can have a break to annoy people as you feel the need. While I await your C.V.and references I'll have a little win:smile:

G' morning everyone. Now I can go back to bed.

you've probably already been back to bed and are up again so hope you are rested. It's 3-30pm here now and I'm seriously thinking about bed.Just waiting for Roberts job application (see above):ghug:

Here is my CV - do I get the job?

"Received a plague for Salesperson of the Year."
"Wholly responsible for two (2) failed financial institutions."
"It's best for employers that I not work with people."
"You will want me to be Head Honcho in no time."
"Am a perfectionist and rarely if if ever forget details."
"I am loyal to my employer at all costs...Please feel free to respond to my resume on my office voice mail."
"I procrastinate, especially when the task is unpleasant."
"Personal interests: donating blood. Fourteen gallons so far."
"Instrumental in ruining entire operation for a Midwest chain store."
"Note: Please don't misconstrue my 14 jobs as 'job-hopping'. I have never quit a job."
"Reason for leaving last job: They insisted that all employees get to work by 8:45 am every morning. I couldn't work under those conditions."
"The company made me a scapegoat, just like my three previous employers."
"Finished eighth in my class of ten."
"References: none. I've left a path of destruction behind me."

unfortunately for me (and you)you've got the job. You start in November 2023 just to give you time to reduce your medication and to be discharged from your social worker.I'll take the win because I really don't think it's safe with you at the moment.

Hi ya - great to see everyone in good form :ybatty: same as normal then  great - I'll take the win - since I am not allowed to work and will procrastinate today with ironing - I have about 6 shirts to iron. I reckon I will bake cookies before I do the ironing - in the meantime a win feels real good

Hmmm - so you are all eating cookies and plotting to take my win. That will never do ........

I spy a win

Don't cry, you can't all win !

:ghug:Hiya, Jake! I like your winning attitude. Welcome to the "looney bin." We have some gentle ribbing here but it is all meant in good fun. I can already tell, with your attitude, that you will fit right in.

Hi Jake and Sandy

I'm a winner - my lymphocytes are winning too - a double AA ranking for being over the norm so have lymphocytsis - wonder if its Humira, Aza or just good ole crohns?

Aura, I am sooooo jealous. We don't have online super market shopping in our area. We used to, but there wasn't enough of a demand. Now, when I shop, I have to have Doug drive me, and take "the kid." She isn't allowed to be without one of us or someone from the f. agency. (long story.) I make them all wait in the car while I shop because even Doug wants to stop and look at everything. I hate shopping, but it is one minute I get out of the house where I have a minute to myself, even if it is in the middle of the market. I still hate shopping, though.

I tried to look this up, lymphocytes, but when I did it took me right back to the threads where you had posted on the crohn's forum. I would lol, but that isn't funny. If I find anything, I will let you know.

for being so nice, I win.:)

System, or Mr. X, where ya been? We missed you! (oh, that makes me the winner again, doesn't it!)
Better post fast again, X, if you want the win back!

'Tis sad, but true, at least in our little town of Kaysville. BTW, did I ever tell you my niece's hubby is from England? Anna (niece) met him there, poor lady. My brother lived there for almost two years until he wised up and came back to Utah. My Mother went for a brief visit, and ended up (after getting lost), going to their destination of the Wedgwood factory, and found your Queen Elizabeth there at the same time, for some royal reason. My Mother even has a picture of the Queen she took on that visit. Not berating your Queen, but I told you I had a dysfunctional family. As for myself, I might some day join their "dysfunctionalness" and visit your lovely land, but my heart is, and shall forever remain, a Utahn.

A win is needed here at the edge of the world...its wet, with lots of sleet, snow and thunder about...so a win here will bring a smile a laugh and lots of joy.......yeah!

I like the smile laugh and lots of joy. Utah is hot and low humidity, high winds, and wild fires burning out of control. Maybe I will move to some island somewhere.

warm and humid here peeps.I'm a winner today as just bought a juicer and loads of stuff to juice,so not only will I be a winner I'll be a SUPER HEALTHY WINNER

I can only do one or the other alas,it's an age thing although like all females I can multitask when I must.just for now though,I think I'll be the winner

Well, at my age, I must admit, I can do it somedays much easier than I can other days, lol! Sort of slow in here today so far....I can take a day like that!

I slept in, again. No work for me to today (or most days). It's a good thing, too, because not only can I not multi task, I can walk into a room five times in a row and say "now what did I come in here for?", and spend my whole day figuring out what I am doing with my day. I spend my time on this forum when I am lost. If I'm super lost, I just stare blankly at a wall.

although I wake early, usually between 5 and 6am I can relate to you almost exactly.I used to be super efficient, but now I don't need to be.I do like a clean and tidy home, but only because I like to read, walk the dog and faff about on here with a clear concience.Concience is a terrible affliction.:dance::dance: Oh,nearly forgot............I win

What's efficient? What's a tidy home? Oh, I better go work on it. WINNER!

(oh, and what's a concience?)

Given your lifestyle you've got nothing to worry about. There's no excuse here, there's just the two of us and the dog.Feel a tad embarassed taking the win off you Sandy but here goes......I WIN:redface::wink::blush::shifty:

Hi, I'm off to the Gastro today, hubby has just left for the airport, but he comes back tonight. He's been home 3 nights this week :ywow:

Time for a win

Allie says "hi" to all of you, now everybody back to work, or whatever, so I can win for awhile. Allie wants some big meaty bones for her part of the prize. WINNERS!

Hi everyone----------have been busy getting ready for visitors from England.
It has been several years since the last visit and they are boys--- now just over 21,
so there will be extra work thinking for them!!
Hope they don't bring their wet weather with them although today here in the Niagara Peninsula it has been stormy and rainy---good for the garden though.
Good to see you back in fine form Robert-------nuff said and now
to claim the WIN

Ah you have said nice things about me - so I feel guilty taking your win on 'Game Time' ........oh..........and here. Bye.

Thanks, I like hugs. I needed one today. I keep finding more and more things that show it's the FOSTER AGENCY that doesn't work and play well with others. For instance, they have decided that on our home studies, that they can go through every drawer and closet (including underwear drawers) to make sure we are not hiding anything. Also, they tell us when things are due after they are due, then expect us to drop everything to fix their mistakes. ARRGGHH! I (we) really need the win.

:kiss:Win.............such a pleasant surprise! did you hear that? a win to the kiwi on the edge of the world...where its windy wet and cold.....no! they dont want to hear about that... a win you said, about time I say...............win yeah:dance::dance::dance:

You win too, Aura, because you are my foster daughter, and I may even adopt you if you move to Utah. Even though half of it is on fire right now.

Wallath, I'll adopt you too if you move to Utah. First, I might want to visit New Zealand, as well as England, until the fires are out.

Sleepy. But I have to go with Ashley to day camp all day, and she.does (usually) make me happy. I win. How are you Cheryl?

I am pretty good, Sandy, just a bit on the tired side. So we are both there today, huh? Sounds fun to go to day camp, that will wake you up. In the middle of the heatwave here, so wouldn't be that fun in the midwest, lol! Hugs for yesterday, by the way. Stupid foster system.

P.S. I love my juicer. Along with everything else, though, I forget to use it. Happy day, even to you Robert, one of my other special needs foster children. (we only take in kids with emotional disturbances. Aura's is that she doesn't know when to stop cooking, but that is okay with us. BTW, aura, we just fired our (neighbor) cook, so you can come up any time.

re juicer.I'm determined to take time to use it every day,but it's a faff to clean. No doubt if I stick with it it'll become second nature, like washing the pots, although thats a faff as well come to think of it.As I'm getting older I'm committing to keepng fit and well.Panic stations.Just had three hours of tremendous storms and flooding and more on the way.this is getting to be novelette,so will finish on a WIN.my alfie says Hi to allie.

Morning all - Happy Friday - for those that have it :D

Fried rice and sticky chicken wings for tea tonight.

I need to use my juicer.....when the peaches on the tree ripen! Or I get some tomatoes out of the garden!
