Less sexual desire and acne on Pentasa?

I was put on Pentasa and since then my sex drive went down hill BIG time! Has anyone else had to deal with this? It's like I'm numb inside and feel nothing,.md no desire

Also has anyone on Pentasa ever had issues with pimples? I am breaking out HORRIABLE

What you are describing is not a known side effect for Pentasa. Pentasa is an anti inflammatory that works specifically in the gut locally.

What else is new as far as drugs in your life? How about your emotional state? We Crohnies are under constant emotional stress, you know, waiting for a flare type thing.

Having been on 4000mg of Pentasa for years I do not think the two (drug/symptom) are related.
