Go in for a colonoscopy tomorrow morning, so today I am on the liquid diet. It is only 10 and I am already starving. I am going to be super cranky tonight.
 
Boo...I'm on liquids today too. My stomach has been really gurgly the past couple days. So, I"m seeing if liquids will make a difference. Worried tapering off the Entocort now is too soon since my Imuran hasn't kicked in yet.

I hope your scope goes well tomorrow! :)
 
Good luck tomorrow! I hope you get to eat something yummy when it's all over and I hope for good results :)
 
The starving is the worst part. I guess drinking gallons of liquid is not my favorite either.

I hope they find everything is in perfectly good order.

Good luck with everything.....yep - the prep is the worst - I usually work the day before and it is TORTURE watching others eat....and of course my husband always fogets at home and offers me food...grrrr.......
 
I did the Osomo Prep for the first time this prep. Much easier than the gallon of nasty liquid. I just hope it cleared me out enough. But by the time I started the prep I had not had anything to eat for 24 hours, so not a whole lot to clean out.

Anyways off to scope I go!

I used Osmoprep as well. I've only had one colonoscopy so I can't compare with other preps, but it seemed to do the trick. I took the 30(?) pills with White Grape Juice, and haven't had a taste for that again yet. Peeing out of your butt is so much fun...At least once the prep kicks in, you forget how hungry you are. :)

Home and well (a little foggy headed though). Everything went well, colon looks much improved. First good scope I have had in awhile.
 
Took me awhile to shake that drugged up feeling on Friday. They really doped the hell out of me. I don't even remember getting online to write back to this thread.

Still need to see my doc to talk about the results. He just gave me the pictures, said everything was much improved since my last scope in September. Lots of scare tissue and polyps in the pictures, but looking back at the last one I can tell it is not as irritated/bleedy looking.

He had me stop the Metho and Humira until he got results from blood work back. So if everything is OK I should start those back up today (yesterday was my regular day to shoot up). I also dropped from 10 mg to 5 mg a day of Pred on Saturday.

So far so good.
 
That's great news! Not looking forward to my next dose of Klean-Prep n the scope at the end of the month! The things we have to go through eh?

My heart goes out to you, kleen prep is discusting and litres of it! Pico Salax is only 2 cups, and we take Dulcolax the night before the prep. :eek:
 
Hey! This is a tad off topic, but can any of you pleeeeeaaase explain what osmoprep is??
 
Crohns...wow! I just read this post...I am so happy for you.. our crohns flared around the same time...This is awesome news..Are you off prednisone completely? I wish I could report the same :( Oh, well...here I go again! But good news for you...Sue
