Made the call to the Dr today.....

Thinking more about what has been going on with me...I decided to call my GI and left a message for her.....here is a run down.......

March 25th - woke up with chills/fever etc.......the 26th went to urgent care, had strep test.........started pennicillian......
27th - woke up breaking out with cold sores - lips, gums, nose YUK!.......got call back from urgent care saying strep test came back positive....

A few days into the treatment, noticed a couple of patches of dry skin (had been there, dx as excema previously) - were getting worse and spreading.....

About week or so after dx, red patches spreading...still are.......

Last week, almost didn't make it to work 'ok'....had bad cramp (6-7 on scale 10) in the car - almost didn't make it to the bathroom .....first time in a LONG time that has happened!

Appetite has still been off, I am just finishing up my period - but still getting some achy gut feelings...a few times I have had a general ache/pain above my belly btton - right side mostly - otherwise more so on my lower left side.......

So - today, loose BM, in fact can feel some gurgling right now......hasn't been normal for me....had biopsies taken of the rash yesterday.......

Waiting for the call back to see if my GI wants to see me before my next remicade appointment on the 26th - I have a feeling she will say 'yes'.......she is really good about that - I've been seen on a day or two notice in the past.....I love my Doc!

I'm sorry you aren't feeling well. I hope you can get in touch with your GI soon and you can get to feeling better.

Well - got a message from her....status quo for now, until my next visit.......can't wait to see what she says about my rash/psoriasis!!!!!

Update on that.....called the infusion clinic and talked to the PA there....she talked to the Dr and I now have an appt on Monday morning 10am....did I say I like my Doc? lol.....

Now to try to have a good time this weekend at the horse show I'm going to.....about a 3 hour drive - will have supply of TP in the truck, and good thing I have a big trailer with lots of sawdust in it! rofl.......

Thanks Nancy....spent most of the evening in the bathroom! UGH...this is NOT NORMAL......at least for the past few years!.......I got a call on the way home yesterday asking if I could swing by the lab to drop off a sample - unfortunately I was already a couple towns away on my way home.....

So, Mon am it is - hoping things stay somewhat under control this weekend - heading out on the road shortly for a 3 hour drive (NO rest areas most of the way!!!!)......pulling a trailer with 5 year old daughter in tow.......I think I will take 2 rolls of TP with me on this trip! lol.....

Well, if I am to get to the show on time, time to get off the computer and get dressed!.....and get loaded, daughter up....gee, a LOT to do! lol
