I am a 15 year old boy. I have Crohn's Disease. I was put on Remicade in April of 2012 and then put on Methotrexate injections in August of 2012 because of a small stricture. I am doing better. I have a colonoscopy scheduled for June. In your opinion, if the stricture is gone, which i'm pretty sure it is, do you think I could come off of the Methotrexate. I would still be taking the Remicade. I just hat the way the injections of Methotrexate make me feel. Thanks for reading.:ysmile:

Hi, my daughter is 16 years old and had crohns since she was 10. She has tried every medication going and is now on methotrexate weekly injections. She is currently having a flare so on pred steriods as well. I am not 100% sure but would imagine they would continue with your injections as they have kept her on her meds whilst she is well

OK. Does your daughter have any of the side effects like tiredness and nausea from the injections? If so, how does she cope with them. Thanks.

My daughter does get tired very easily but unfortunately could be due to a flare at the moment. She is also on steriods but hospital are slowing weaning her off these. She does not feel sick on the injections
