I have horrible problems with mouth sores and brushing my teeth makes it worse I have tried a lot of different tooth paste but it all burns bad and makes the ulcers worse and I can forget mouth wash all together its like acid to my all ready painful tongue I also have the geographic tounge thing which I've had all my life. Any one know of a tooth paste that doesn't burn an already raw mouth?

Is there alcohol in your toothpaste? Ask your pharmacist for a alcohol free version. They may even know of one specifically designed for your need.

When I am having some mouth issues I always go to just plain old baking soda, for me it works the best. I have tried a toothpaste called "Tom's" of Maine I think it's natural, Can't remember all the details it's been a long time since I had some, but it did work & helped alleviate some pain. But I still prefer baking soda with a Hydrogen Peroxide chaser. I checked on special sensitivity toothpastes & other various products from my dentist but the cost for them was unreal. Good Luck To You!!!

Tom's toothpaste works great. I am currently using the peppermint one. I have very, very sensitive teeth and this particular tooth past doesn't bother my teeth and seems to help them. It's also cheaper than the Rx flouride toothpast at the dentist office.
