wow I never noticed that you were in australia, thats cool! but thanks ladies :) procedure went well & daisha was in really good spirits & took it like a champ so her smiling face made it alot easier for me :) & the good thing is that she still has no symptoms so at least shes not in pain.. test results in 24-48hrs so now its just the waiting game. appreciate the support, thanks again.

That is so fab to hear Vness! Aww, what an absolute trooper and sweetheart your baby is...

Ugh, I hate the waiting game! Fingers, toes and everything else crossed that all is AOK!

its ok.. I called the dr yesterday but they didnt return my call so no results yet. I will be calling them back first thing on monday morning, will keep you posted.

just wanted to let you all know that daisha's results came out good with no signs of inflammation in her liver and no blockages in bial ducts so psc is ruled out :) but its not over yet unfortunately she still has to do a liver biopsy :/ because her doctors concerned about auto-immune hepatitis which if left untreated can result in cancer. wtf I wish she hadnt told me that just yet because I was just starting to feel some kind of relief and in a matter of seconds back to a worry wart. I was trying to avoid the liver biopsy because I heard alot of stories about people bleeding to much because of all the livers blood supply. doctor said procedure is quick but we will have to stay the night so they can monitor her and make sure shes not bleeding. I hope its not painful for her. we are scheduling for next week but no exact date yet. I pray that I dont have to add any another diseases to my daughters list of illness, ugh. so not looking forward to this procedure.

That's good news Vanessa!! We were told EJ would probably have to stay overnight after his liver bio but they just watched him a few hours then released us. He was a little sore the next day so we had him checked at the gp but it was nothing. It really was not as bad as I had convinced myself it was gonna be. Take heart!!

Oh fab news Vanessa! :)

I'm sorry to hear that Daisha still has to have the biopsy but I'm sure she will come through the procedure just fine hun...

Please let us know when you have the date so I can start crossing everything!

Thinking of you, :ghug:

Ok so the liver biopsy has been scheduled for 8/24 (5days before she starts high school). she will be tested for auto-immune hepatitis. I am feeling positive at the moment (we all know this wont last long lol) so lets start crossing fingers, toes and anything possible to cross lol.. I will try my best to keep positive :) the countdown begins...

I will have everything crossed Vanessa, including my eyes! I will also send mega loads of luck your way...
