MRi scan pain

Hello
along time since i came on here 5 years, That was when i was starting aza and i was scared but here Iam 5 years later. I was just wondering if anyone has had MRI scan and been so ill and in pain afterwards ? I have a 6cm stricture and it fibrotic/fibrosis im waiting on the results to see whats going on 12 years since second bowel restruction and fingers crossed and counting thanks

I have had MRIs but there was no pain caused by them. Some people react negatively to the contrast fluid you drink, but that tends to be more along the lines of digestive upsets such as diarrhea and/or nausea. I suggest you see your doctor about the pain.

My last MRI had me on the table between 90 and 120 minutes. Laying on the table caused pain.



The contrast that I have drank in the past causes a flare up.

I cried after an MRI once, but that was because it hurt my back and hips. I have arthritis in my hips.
