I was diagnosed back in june with Crohn's. They initially put me on Lialda which seemed to be working great! my symptoms went away, the muscle pain stopped and i was feeling like my old self again. well they switched my meds to pentasa 2 pills,4 times a day( yuck) admit-ably i have been stressed( my husband getting out of the military and moving and then my daughter had a seizure( we still don't know why)) well ive had a flair up and the worse part this time is my muscle/joint pain. i can barley walk and it wakes me up in the middle of the night it hurts so bad. the pain is mostly in my left knee and calf and my right foot/ arch. I feel like an my grandma trying to walk around. I am only 25 years old and i have 2 young kids. My husband at times seem to be very unsympathetic to my condition and seems to think im over reacting and that because im having a flair i'm not taking my meds correctly( which sure some days its hard to remember to take a med 4 TIMES a freaking day. I just need some relief.ive been taking tylenol to function on a basic level but i want to feel like my old self again. is there anything i can take or do at home that will help with these muscle pains! Im desperate!

I remember having very bad pains in my thigh muscle. That was over thirty years ago but I remember it was in one region and hurt a lot. It is probably made worse by being seemingly in a random place and with nothing to show much (whereas seeing someone getting a little injection would make some people flinch). The only outward sign I had was mild swelling.

Hi
My mum has crohns & also has fibromyalgia which she gets lots of pain which. Its worth looking at.

Have you had your potassium , magnesium, or othe vitamin levels checked. When the 1st 2 I mentioned is low on me I have to use a walker because the joint pain is so bad.

Hope you find relief soon.
