Hi there i have no doctor currently as i am living overseas and no provision has been made for my crohns care. My crohns is really not good at the moment and i was wondering if anyone knew of anything i could do to help myself. I eat heathly (avoiding dairy as its one of my tiggers) and take regular exercise, where possible. But its really getting me down i am a busy mum and dont have the time to be rushing to the toilet every 2 seconds or be up half the night with cramps.

Many thanks Julia xxx

Some of the things I have heard of for natural relief are aloe vera pills, probitotics, and fish oil. Seems to work for some and not for others. If you look around on here, you will find many who swear by the miracles of these natural cures. Then there are of course all the different diets out there. From all liquid diets to the SCD. I don't know much about any of them. Hope you find some relief soon.

Hi Julia,

I'm pleased to say i had life changing success with Serovera AMP.
I no longer take Pentasa,6mp,Azathioprine,Steroids etc.
It now costs me £20 per month (Max Pay pass discount scheme)
My full story is on my website in my signature.

Best Wishes

Fish Oil is great. Make sure to get it cold-pressed and liquid form, not in pills. You could also alternate with Flax seed oil and/or Black currant seed oil.

Staying away from all grains and dairy has been very helpful for me.

Probiotics are a necessity.

L-glutamine heals intestinal mucosa.

And possibly one of the most beneficial, as a lot of studies are showing: Vitamin D. I take 6000-8000 IU a day. If I'm in the sun that day, I'll knock it down to 2000-4000 IU. But this is a big one.

Good luck. Hope things calm down for you.

I am nearly in remission after only one month by taking Boswellia 450mg 3X daily.

I was previously on Pentasa and Humira with both of them failing me.
I am now medication free and only on Boswellia, Fish Oil, and a Multi-Vitamin.

I really hope this helps, please try Boswellia its amazing.
