Wasn't sure if I should ask but if you all can send good vibes Jack's way... He is trying out for a part in the school musical and came home depressed yesterday and said he failed, singing auditions were yesterday, today is speaking and dancing. Wouldn't tell me why he thinks he "failed" It would be great for something positive to happen and for him to get the part, he has spent the last week singing and dancing around the house practicing.

Sending lots of good vibes!!!! I hope he gets a part!!!! :heart: :heart:

My Sarah is big into drama herself, both onstage and off!! ;-)

Lots of good vibes headed your way.

No it's no secret Aniuko, I'm sure he would love to hear from her. Is she nervous about tomorrow, are you nervous? Please update and let us know.

I don't do vibes but I will pray for him.!:thumleft:

If he doesn't get it, tell him what my dad told me.....good thing you didn't get it, it would have probably haunted you for years.:yfaint:

He was right! I watched it and thank God I had nothing to do with it.:ylol:

Seriously, Rainbow! :eek: Well mine were dyed blue and orange in October when we tie-dyed t-shirts for football, so at least they matched and I just looked like I was a little bit of a fanatic fan. We love our Boise State Broncos.
I know you were trying to do that swirl pattern on your nails and it got out of hand, right?

Let's just say my teenager finds anything that takes longer than 5 seconds (unless it's talking to her boyfriend online) too much trouble to bother with, like closing containers all the way....

...last time, it was mayonnaise.

Sending lots of good vibes, and juju and of course hugs !

:ghug::ghug::ghug::ghug::ghug:

:goodluck::hang::goodluck:

Sending good vibes Jack's way!!! I hope he does fantabulous!! I know about the teenage drama too, my daughter could have her own drama queen show..whew!!

Break a leg, Jack!

Lots of good vibes coming his way!

Both of my boys are in the school play (A Christmas Carol) and are in the midde of rehearsals now. They're having a blast. I'm ready for it to be over so they can go back to riding the bus home in the afternoons!

Yay! A performer! Good Luck and will include him in our prayers!

Sorry guys I know nothing of this teenage drama you speak of..I think it is a parenting issue.

Whatever! (with the eyeroll) humph, arms cro
ssed, turn and stomp away

(this is what happens when you try and post something at a red light and have to wait until the next red light to finish) Bad Me!

Haha...Clash follows right behind Jmrogers...mumbling under breath about that know it all goody two shoes...CIC! ;p

Well he is home from auditions, says he killed the dance part, wont know until tomorrow if he has to come back for call backs but the good vibes apparently helped today! He is definitely in a better mood. They are putting on High School Musical 3 and he is auditioning for the part of Ryan for those of you familiar with the movie.

Aw! He is so cute he would make a killer Ryan! Glad the dancing went well. FWIW my experience in theater...you can deal with a little off singing but you can't cover bad dancing...as a former dancer just sayin'...

Good advice crohnsinct but I don't remember a pole in the movie.:shifty:

:soledance::ytongue::soledance:

I've never even seen the movie. Heard of it.
Me and musicals are like y'all and sobriety. Not going to happen.
I lose nothing for not watching TV or movies.

Well he didn't get Ryan, he got the part of the cook :confused2: but he says he is okay with it, at least he won't be at school until 5:00 for rehearsals the next 3 months he can just come home and eat and gain some weight right. Oh well I'm telling myself they just didn't want him upstaging the main characters :biggrin:

Wow! That is nice that they spare the kids who have smaller parts from the longer rehearsals. I have never heard of this. My little one is a tornado (yeah you heard that right - she is dressed in gray and twists around and around in circles) for her school's Wizard of Oz production and she has to be there the same amount of time as Dorothy!

Tell him to break out into an all out STOMP dance with those pots and pans!!!

My kids would love to be a tornado! Oh wait look at my house, they are!

Love the STOMP dance idea, we just saw TAPDOGS. He would be all over that.

Feel free to tell Jack this!!!! It might make him feel better.:thumright:

Still congrats on him getting the cook!

Hope he enjoys the cook part! My daughter loved high school musical - I have watched those dvd's sooo many times :ybatty:. I enjoyed being in plays/musicals when I was at school. I remember especially enjoying when we got out of class to go to rehearsal :lol:

Awwwwww, bless him. :)

I am sorry I am late to this but so happy to hear he did receive a part! Well done! :medal1:

I will send loads of happy, dancing vibes for a fun, fab and successful play!

:mademyday:

Dusty.
