Need help fast

i had an abscess burst yesterday because i didnt have the money to get it drained. well i felt wetness in that area today. come to see i have stool and pus leaking out of it. i have 3 holes! i cant get into my gi until late January because he is on a long vacation. I dont have a gp. what should i do in the meantime? I can probably go to my old pediatrician even though im 20 and havent seen her in four years but is that the proper place to go? never had a fistula before so its freaking me out not to mention extremely painful

Does your gi have an associate in his office that you can contact? Let us know how you are.

It sounds like a new fistula has opened, and you do need to get it checked out. There should be someone covering for your doctor. I would give the office a call and tell them about this new development. You want to make sure things don't become infected.
