He Saying Yes It Does It Goes Away And Tames Down As It Only Causes Pain And Diarrea!!!!

I Proceeded To Fight My Corner Like Please When Does This Happen Coz It Ant Gona Thats Why
Well Folks Do You Think Im Wrong Or The Doc Was A Very Rude Man?
Coz My Other Half Says That Im Just Angry In Genral So It Would Be Good To Know What Other Cronness Thick Hmmm Think I Spelt Tht Wrong!!
Would Love To Know Thanks!

:eek2: wow, this is not a post to read on your first coffee! I was furious , and my husband said, obviously this man has no clue of what Crohns is! How ignorant to state a fact that is not true... I am surprised at that. Just pain and diaheah...

I have mentioned many times that funding is low for this disease and that makes outsiders not being aware of this of how debilitating it could be.

I would seek another doctor, because my gp would never undermine what ever my GI says, ever. He is aware of this disease being not curable, and certainly would never say what yours doc said. Yes, he was rude and ignorant.

Hope you are ok, there are alot out there that think that way. Hugs.

VG - are you saying that you went to a neurologist? Maybe your doctor needs a consultation with your GI doctor - or at the least a little continuing medical education class to catch him up with the 21st century! I might even tell my GI doc what he said. I'd be quite embarrassed if I was that doc! I'd say you had a right to be upset. I think if it were me - I would have gotten up, and walked out right then and there and asked for a different doctor - you know - one that went to med school :O)

Only causes pain and D huh? And stupid me had this crazy emergency surgery for nothing.

I agree with you Vintage.

boy I'm glad the Erythema Nodosum, Sacroiliitis and Rheumatoid Arthritis was all in my head! This is just gonna go away on it's own.

Pot Roast For Dinner At Kenny's House Tonight! whoohooo :yoshijumpjoy:

Well I guess we all just have to keep waiting cause this is gonna go away!
WOW!! I would definitely be finding a new doc and telling every other doc about this joke in hopes that the 2 docs know eachother and someone can maybe educate him!

I would have lifted up my shirt to show him my surgical scar and say, "pain and diarrhea huh? What kind of diarrhea is this?!" Then would have stormed out and would never see that doc again for anything.

Even when you're in remission that doesn't mean it's gone away and that you're in the clear and can go off meds for the rest of your life.

My prayers are answered!!! All this time I have been depressed that this is what my life has turned into.. It's going to go away!!!! Yey!!!

Do I need to do anything or just wait for that magical day when I wake up to a life free of pain, surgery, liquid poop, public accidents, enough meds that I rattle, exhaustion, malnutrition induced alopecia... I could go on...

Wow! What a prize prat.
